Did you flash it with or without unlocking the bootloader?

How's the performance thus far. Looking to flash it :D

now i using nitrogen os by marchetto96 much better than lineage and more smoother but cant save camera to sd card the only thing missing.i am on unlock bootloader btw.flash nebula v2 if you dont like the stock kernel.

Just joined the camp! Will be used as a spare phone.
Phone came with global rom installed (8.0.3.0), eliminates all the China rom and flashing issues discussed previously yippee! :D

Immediately updated it to (8.1.9.0). So far so good.

Overall it's pretty good. Much more responsive than my previous Redmi Note (3G) bought in 2014. But the huge size will need time to get used to it.

Sorry Xiaomi will have to be my spare phone always. Haha!

Nonsense lah... They don't know what they are talking...

If yours is an official global rom, then no such thing as losing Google after restore coz Google is included in the official global rom.

Show us the screenshot of your About Phone to make sure it is a real official global rom.

Someone did it before. Either through some hand craft modification another by using an adaptor bought from taobao.

You can do call barring for sim 2 and use it for data only.

Finally...

It has been so long since 8.1.6.0 for Mi Max and 8.1.9.0 for Mi Max Prime. :)
