Noticed that contacts got problem. When click into any of my contact, will have error.
unable to update to latest global rom using the updater in phone.
mine is not a real global rom?

If you can't update using the inbuilt updater then it's a fake ROM. Go flash an original one.

No wonder you experienced Google contact issue.

You must Fastboot miflash to official global rom liao...

Remember this folks. Anything with the "CN" in the MIUI version section is a hacked or official China rom.

They will bluff through the buyers who do not have much knowledge about the differences between global and China or hacked or 3rd party rom de...

Will like to know if anyone here experience issues with notifications? Such as, I dont receive notifications from telegram and carousell, two apps I use rather frequently. I have to go into the app before I see the messages. The notifications will be fine until after say 3-4 hours later, then the notifications shopper again! I tried to set them as priority but not helping.

Also, after setting some of the apps as priority, the apps will continue to show notifications when I am on DND mode. Not cool when I was in midst of something else and dont want to show the notifications.

Any way to resolvs these two issues?

Normal. WhatsApp too. On and off. Certain firmware is good and not for some. Has to live with it till you find a good release and freeze there.
Lock application in memory helps a little. But if you have lots of program facing same issue and need to do the same. It means you have less memory to run other applications.

I have the same problem with carousell actually. Lost me a couple of deals, but thankfully it doesn't really matter here.

Lock the app, enable Autostart, under "Manage app's battery usage", set the "Power Saving in Background" to "No restrictions" for your desired app?

I have mostly no problems with Whatsapp and especially carousell after doing this.
