And another 2 question! anyone managed to put 2 sim cards and 1 microsd card?

If i use dual sim. can i not allow incoming calls from Sim 2 and to use all my data from sim 2?

My Mi Max 128 has been updated to Global 8.2.1.0

So far, so good!

However, low volume on YouTube via headset is still not fixed.

Mi Sound Enhancer is still not working.

Is there any shop that has the physical phone that I can play with a while? I am thinking to hoot 1 basic model (2GB/16GB) to use as ebook reader and maybe watch videos...

The price between a 2/16 and a 3/32 is not much of a difference!

I would suggest you get the 3/32 model even just to watch video and for ebook reading!

2GB of RAM is so.....not enough considering the graphical design and contents of Apps now.... Very fast you will feel the lagginess de with just 2GB of RAM! Can vomit blood de....

I can see the link for Mi Max Prime V8.2.1.0 Recovery Rom.
But why they put Fastboot Rom as "coming soon"?
I thought the file should be the same? just diff method of flashing?

anyway I just flashed using via Mi updater App.
It states that I am flashing to older version even though I'm using the latest V8.2.1.0.
after it auto reboot, still shows the same fake version

think i need to flash using fastboot liao

2gb don't have global rom because is only released within mainland china via their telco

Fast boot & recovery both have liao for Mi max & prime. Direct MIUI

went into the link.

encountered this using XiaoMiFlash.

tried using Mi PC Suite "MiSetup3.2.1.3111_2717.exe".
cannot detect phone when i am in fastboot mode. got this msg. "Try connect in Normal mode first then switch".

then when in normal mode, cannot detect. it states "Connect your device via USB"
Then after awhile the msg changes to "You need to update your device to use Mi PC Suite. Update your device before connecting"
