Xiaomi Mi Max - Part 2

Hey guys, decided to buy the 3/64 version of the Mi Max from Simder. Got it for about 2 weeks or so ago, but I'm kinda unsure if my ROM is a "rubbish" version or not as it has 4 decimal places instead of 3 decimal places, 8.2.13.0.0

Is this a fake ROM of sorts? If it is, is there anything I can do about it? Thanks in advance!

Should be modified rom. Mine is on 8.2.1.0.

Yes! Folks are right. Yours is a modified rom.

You need to flash it to the global stable rom 8.2.1.0 if you know what to. Else, your Mi Max will not get any further updates in firmware.

I was from Redmi Note 3 too! Mi Max's huge 6.4" screen is really damn shiok for everything! :)

It will be very difficult to go back to smaller screen....:s22:

Ya man! After few months, if you ask me...is 6.4" screen is really that big? I would say it is not that big after all! I can't imagine a 5'5" screen! Gosh! :o

Even I asked by gf..."6.4" very big for you mei? She replied "normal size for me now..."! =:p

the xiaomi max is a great phone, but the selfie front cam is quite lousy comparable to old phones?

I have a mi note lte which only have 4 mp front cam, but in v dim condition the whole picture still will be bright, the xiaomi max i can't even see anything. Is there a way to fix this? software issue? because if taken on bright area it is still sharp though dull

Mi Max front and rear camera are that badass in low light. That is what it is. You can forget about any big improvement for this model.

If they put a solid camera on it, Mi Max would not had cost that cheap. It is designed to be an entertainment phone and not a camera phone especially in low light.

Having said that, the day light shots are awesome on Mi Max. No doubt about that as long as the brightness is sufficient. :)

Also, I noticed that there is slight improvement in low light with Android 7 on Mi Max... just slightly. Not too much to be excited about. It is still a bad camera in low light.
