For uninitiated (me), what are the benefits of using volte?

Will get connected faster, supposedly clearer if you can tell the difference.

I am using starhub and zero1, never see before.

Anyone here still using the EU rom? Is your weather app able to pinpoint the exact location you're in and not just "singapore"?

Recently hv charging issues with my mi max. Probably gonna dump it and go mi max 2

Only issue is "2" uses USB C and I've got loads of old USB type cables. But moving forward, most probably all new phones would b using USB C

Now just wondering shld I fix the USB port and wait for "3"

The mi max is still functioning well, just that I can't charge it most of the time and my spare phone is an old Huawei 7inch tab �

Fixed for $30 hearsay, let mm3 drop $200 from launch price after 6 months, (xmas present for self). Dump mm1 for $100. Spend$30 save$300.

I already skipped MM2. Think I will get the MM3.

Latest EU rom? The one before the previous update was working fine. Then I tried to refresh the weather in a different location and it didn't change. It was after I cleared data in the weather app when I noticed it stopped detecting the location anymore

They are basically from the same source as Miui.

Calls will be done on 4G network instead of dropping down to 3G network.

Without it, when you're using internet on 4G network, you will have sudden drop in internet connection and also delay for the call to come in while your mobile switch to 3G network to initiate the phone call.

Not necessary for those who modify code for phone to support it.

If just USB socket issue. It can be repaired.

Incoming voice / video call on Hangout doesn't ring at all. I know that nobody uses Google Hangout here.

But just a note.

Maybe I will switch back to Global Beta ROM again.

Eu rom is not as good as global rom now in term of stability and bug-free as compared to last time.

Global rom has caught up well and very solid now.

That's why I stay with global rom now.
