i saw on lazada selling export set 3gb/32gb... can buy at 279 dollar??? or better to buy at challenger??? wat the diff??? price diff quite a bit

If you don't need the warranty...ok with export set...and ok with any other colors... buy from here:

export set can do 4g+3g for dual sim?
meaning 4g reception for sim 1 and 3g reception for sim 2

Just got the Mi max 64gb.. Comes with this version

So it does not auto update to the latest version? Can be done with dragonguy instructions to update to miui 8?

Confused here, need expert to explain to layman.

Export set vs local set
The difference is it export set come with china rom?
Local set is global rom?

Global rom vs China rom
Global rom can do ota update and China rom can't?
Global rom have Google play store , china rom don't have?

Some in lazada I saw said is export set but flash with global rom so means buy laio don't need flash again to stable global rom laio?

For peace of mind just get the phone and flash to global rom yourself.

Anyone knows how I can add more notifications tone

And how to assign different tones to different app like Outlook email one sound Gmail one sound, WhatsApp one sound special contact one sound?

ok guys! i finally managed to flash and unbrick my phone. i think it was a combination of factors that made my flash fail and soft bricked my phone last night.

1) using an old xiaomi flash beta program
2) cranky front USB port
3) trying to flash in flashboot mode instead of EDL mode
4) i had the qualcomm drivers but phone appeared as qhusb_bulk thingy, so had to reinstall
5) using the xiaomiflash STABLE program DID NOT WORK for me

in the end, i used everything from the miui 8 mi max prime thread, the beta flashing tool and the qualcomm drivers.

anyhow, thanks dragon and kelvin for any help rendered!
