Ya..my prata set 32GB also the same...download speed 4G or WiFi 1mb per second..for example the apps is 30mb it took like 30sec to download...don't know why like that even do a hard reset it still the same...!

So it does not auto update to the latest version? Can be done with dragonguy instructions to update to miui 8?

I'm on 7.3.14 and my 32gb variant does prompt up the latest update notification.

ok guys! i finally managed to flash and unbrick my phone. i think it was a combination of factors that made my flash fail and soft bricked my phone last night.

1) using an old xiaomi flash beta program
2) cranky front USB port
3) trying to flash in flashboot mode instead of EDL mode
4) i had the qualcomm drivers but phone appeared as qhusb_bulk thingy, so had to reinstall
5) using the xiaomiflash STABLE program DID NOT WORK for me

in the end, i used everything from the miui 8 mi max prime thread, the beta flashing tool and the qualcomm drivers.

anyhow, thanks dragon and kelvin for any help rendered!

My SG MiMax just started an auto update to MIUI V8.0.2.0.MBCMIDG | Nightly | 1.4G

Only update is "Improved system stability".

Pity it's so slow to update on my free wifi at work. Wish it was doing this at home.

After I flashed back to 8.0.1.0, my pc die die does not want to recognize my Mi Max in MTP USB mode...

Already tried installing the Xiaomi driver, but still failed.

I cannot gain access to the mi max storage....

What could have gone wrong?

Walk in price may be different from lazada listed price..I asked before. You can call them to confirm.

Btw, Xiaomi lazada store is open 14 Oct. Maybe special discount + 1 yr warranty?

Not a MiMax user, but for my MiNote, it only recognises the official usb cable. Cannot use any OEM usb cable.
