Hi, heard using mi flash to flash Fastboot rom on 32 bit pc will result in bricked device. Anyone done it successfully? I only have 32 bit pc at home =(

As clearly stated. The basic requirement is a 64bits. There must the a reason for it.

Better don't try on a 32bits PC bah! Later kena bricked then LL!

Other flashing guru wanna comment on the possibility of a successfully flashing on 32bits Windows?

Anyway, folks,

Tested 3 different brands and types of headphones.

A LG QuadBeat 2, a Beats in-ear and an original iPhone earpiece.

YouTube playback via all 3 headphones models are the same...low volume it is. It isn't normal for sure!

Already reported to MIUI8 Team.

**Tested on 8.0.1.0, 8.0.2.0 as well as on the latest 8.1.2.0 (Mi Max 32GB)!

Can unlock bootloader, place ROM in internal storage, rename to update.zip and update via Mi recovery on the phone.

Or install TWRP (After unlocking bootloader)

No issue with Google keyboard.

Thanks. My phone is running unofficial rom from shop so I can't use recovery to flash rom. This, need to use Fastboot to flash. Actu I only saw that warning in one post so not sure if it's really true or if it's updated info.

Don't take the risk bah!

Just use a friend's 64bits to flash. Less than a 5 minutes job. Not worth the brick on a 32bits.

Win7 32bits fine w me, tested about 2 mths ago after gotten from smartcell...

Probably Windows 7 and above is fine regardless of bits..

Likely... fastboot is performing under engineering mode, to me it's should be fine regardless of 32 or 64bits..

Probably the most important thing to do is to disabled the driver signature verification before proceed.

For 32gb around 26gb for usage.

so based on 32gb usage of approx 6gb for software..i guess for 16gb model..probably left around 10gb left to install stuff..

Get the 32GB regardless of your storage usage.

16GB is just too little, too risky for long term.

You will never know....
