Get gflex 2. More current processor than mi note.

Wrong advice. More current but super notorious for overheating as it is the SD810 v1. Will be EOL soon.

Overheating seems to be solved as per gflex 2 hwz thread.

Talking about eol Mi Note is also going to eol soon...

G flex 2 has better specs, but mi note has better build. Go telco there and try see which u like more.

I think there are different rumors lor. Some say Mi5, but some say Mi Note 2. I dont think they have time to release both by this year le. So my guess may be Mi5 instead...

just want to check from real time current user so far any "bad" or regrets getting this Mi phone at over $500?

Camera not that good as compared to same tier phones. Since i am not a picture person, i can still accept it.

Overall quite satisfied with the performance. No regrets buying as it is one of the best phone i ever used.

You can try lazada to purchase below $500. Look for a seller novel communication. Sometime they do price at $499. DO NOT buy if they price at $599. Wait for them to add discount before purchase..

Good? Its at your fingers when u hold it. How good is that? Its so easy to cause a reset of your phone n its data.. how good is that? Been through several times of seeing my app data lost suddenly, how good is that?

It is at a position where your thumb reaches it easily.

Better position than being on top.

Anyway i have never encountered any data lost due to power button being placed there.

Not for samsung, sony, iphone nor xiao mi...

What was the exact reason that your phone hard resetted itself?

Ok finally got my hands on mi note. Overall very satisfied! Batt life is good. Fast and responsive. I find this even better than samsung firmware. So much less clutter than samsung phone.

Only cons is casing availability are so limited. Looking for some protective casing but can't really find any shop carrying them. Only those basic jelly type.
