the 43" new model is a steal.

Not that much if you bring in through forwarder. After factoring all the add-on costs, the price will probably be close to $500-550. At this price might be better to just topup abit more to get a local model with warranty for better ease of mind. Its way more worth going for the larger size 4k mitvs due to the absurd local prices of 4k tvs.

MiTV 3 60inch right? On qoo10 have one seller selling for around $1.7k+. However i doubt they have any stock in hand since the demand is not that high due to pricing. Most likely is that you place an order 1st then the seller bring the set in from china. Apart from qoo10, the cheapest i found is Mobilebee selling the 60 inch for $1699.

Hello all,

I bought the subwoofer for Mi TV 3. I connected to the soundbar. Are they any settings to activate the subwoofer? I do not feel that I heard any "sound" coming from the subwoofer.

Thank you.

The Sub is connected via Bluetooth. You'll need to pair the sound bar with it.

Why don't you buy directly and ship it here?

I ordered mine 60" together with sub woofer. Used buy for me service and sea freight. Cost me less than 1500.

Yes. That is one option.

Can the rest of you that bought the Mi TV 3 share :

1. What size you bought?
2. How much you bought it for?
3. How (or who) did you ship it to Spore?

Thanks.

Not that cheap and must wait 1 mth for shipment. Some more no warranty at all. May as well pay a bit more for a local set with 3 yrs warrenty. If buy 2015 LG Tv now, it is not so expensive. It has free wall bracket and installation. If do not like LG then go for Sony android Tv. If do not like 2015 model then wait for 2016 model drop price in Nov to Dec then buy. Some people after a few months their Tv go up lorry.

1. 50" and 55" + subwoofer, costs about the same in shipping costs (insurance + crating costs(about 40-50ish) + shipping + insurance + GST + home delivery) will come out to about around $250 SGD
2. TV Price is STANDARD, as you will be buying from the official Tmall seller on Taobao
3. So far everyone I see used 65daigou, the above quoted total shipping cost is from 65daigou

Something to add, delivery time:

Xiaomi will take 2 days max to deliver the TV to 65daigou in China, then once you have paid 65daigou for delivery, it will take a maximum 2.5weeks via Sea shipment(they always under promise, so far my 4-5 sea shipments took 2 weeks when always quoted 2.5weeks).

So in total that is an estimated maximum 3 week lead time from when you buy it on Taobao to when you are unboxing.

This thread here covers the process nicely, this guy imported a mitv2, lots of pictures so it may load slow: en.miui.com/thread-31545-1-1.html his shipping also took inside of 3 weeks. (do note his post was in 2014, so costs have changed, especially for the TV size/price :p )

Ok whatever you say LG promoter. I give you 1.7k you go help me buy a local set of 60 inch 4k tv + soundbar + woofer. The stuff you pull out of your arse.....in the repair thread you claim you know alot of xiaomi tv owners whose set spoil within 1-6 months:s13:. In your infinite wisdom LG is the best and nothing beats LG. But hey funny enough, some of the xiaomi tv models uses LG panel. 矛+盾 much?

60" True 4K TV @ SGD$1.6K with soundbar & subwoofer is not cheap?

No warranty is a fact. My last LG 42" TV spoilt 30days after warranty expires, so got warranty also no use.

"Waiting for price to drop" is a never ending game.
