funny. i didnt experience battery draining issue. i start my day with a full charge at 7am and last till all the way till 10pm with 40% left. I surf lots of nets, facebook and occasional video on youtube.

By default, the battery saving is not turned on.

Could it also be due to difference between Wifi (n or ac) and 3G/4G, screen brightness ?

when i bought the phone, its already this version. not a tech person so i never do any updating of anything. i bought the phone from funan IT mall. it is a local set.

I found it on lowyat forum, not sure appropriate post here or not.

So far I use a few days quite stable, no overheating or wifi prob. Overnight with wifi on only eat ard 5% battery, consider quite gd for me

Anyone managed to download and install 5.11.26 onto your Redmi Note 2 Prime???
I am getting error when trying to install? I have renamed it as UPDATE and placed in the root directory, but doesnt work.
I am currently still on 5.10.8... :(

Not sure what u meant by non wipe.

I think Xiaomi has taken down from the updater server. Sat got 7.0.12 update also got taken down after awhile.

So far I use 7.0.11 global is no prob, but update at ur own risk bah since nt avail at official server.
