Good update. Haha but i had mine for days already was one of the few who got it in early batch.

Kindly provide feedback on battery life on this latest 7.1.1.0.
Currently having good battery life on 7.0.12.0 global stable.

Battery life is very much improved. My overnight drop from 100% was about 79%. Today it's at 91%. Standby time has improved.

Updated last night.

Battery life seems no different from 7.0.12

Font type cannot be change in this update.


Will monitor to see whether v7.1 fix the random reboot I had experienced in 7.0.12.

Check with u guys. Do you all encounter issues that the keyboard will keep jumping back to google default keyboard, even though you have installed other keyboard app and set as default?

I noticed that it keeps occuring for my Remi Note 2 and Mipad also...

For my oldie redmi note 3g, it will default to google kb every time I restart the phone. Did not happen with the previous MIUI 7 update

This happens too when my Redmi 1s RAM gets really low then it will change to Google Keyboard, but after updating to MIUI 7.1 got times when it will suddenly switch to Google Keyboard even when there's 400+ MB RAM.. :s22:
