LTE missing is mostly for India and around that continent...

Their networks are problematic one.

Once they have poor networks, their batteries drain faster.

That's why all the complaints are from them. Lol...

Nowadays I don't frequent MIUI forum anymore also, especially when Xiaomi officially got to the India market as there's a sudden flood of Indian users coming in and posting so many similar topics(eg. when will my xxx phone get the Android x.x upgrade?, xioami pls fix the network draining issue, and many more) then I sian liao. :o

Miss the quiet times of the EN MIUI forum.. :s13:

Singtel online shop lists Redmi Note 3 as 'Available' for 2 colours. Anyone ngam ngam want to recontract can quickly try luck.

But it's also stated there - *This handset requires NanoSim Card. ???

I enabled the volume buttons to wake option to minimize wear and tear on the power button. When I wake the phone with volume up, the volume indicator will appear briefly but not with the volume down button. Any thoughts?

Ok. So I got the $50 coupon now but I am contemplating if I should buy from the seller that jack up the price to begin with. Even though it's local set. Mebe I should use the $50 coupon to buy something that is at normal price instead and wait to get it at $299 from xiaomi website.

Now how should I spend the $50. Hmmmm.... Gets harder the more you become more calculative isn't it???

Try Challenger or telco stores if they allow no-contract purchase. StarHub main retail stores may be an option.

If want to get the phone fast and cheap, might as well get the India export model from racecourse road. 7 day 1-1 warranty and if no problem for the first couple of days, unlikely to have issues anyway.
