I don't have a Bluetooth headset but my RN3 Bluetooth connected and functioning well with my LG sound bar and with my "mobile" audio system.

Did you set your Bluetooth headset to pairing mode?

Do you have another brand's BT devices that you can try with? Or those cheap BT earpiece that you bought online?

My RMN3 is on 7.3.6.0 and no problem with BT connection for the cheap BT earpiece that I have.

It also works with my LG BT speakers.
But just can't detect my Samsung LeveL or an older BT 2.1 earpiece, both devices in pairing mode.

I think cannot but it's a nice addition wah!

Also, the color of the Notifications List changes according to the weather...Nice touch indeed!

Personally, I like the this refreshing UI!

What custom rom u using? Got good batt life? I'm using resurrection remix. Dont really have a good batt life compared to miui

You don't need the bootloader to be unlocked to do so with RN3.

You can Fastboot miflash with bootloader locked too in EDL mode.

Tried using the method above but unsuccessful; as my PC can't find my device at all (stuck at first two-three steps).

Tried also on recovery method. Failed too as it cant update package.

Din dare to test further since I cant read any chinese on my device hence.. got stuck now atm.

You must have missed an important step..

Haven't you disabled the windows drivers signature verification before starting any of the 2 processes/methods especially so the Fastboot method?

To update to MIUI8 Beta. 2 methods:

1. Fastboot ROM method will wipe out everything!

2. Recovery ROM method will wipe out everything except the folders and files that you have copied and created to the internal drive earlier.

A USB debugging prompt should appear on your phone. tap ok and your device will be recognized

Sounds like a driver issue. Install the MI pc suite which will automatically install the relevant drivers.
