Battery drain issue

I got serious battery drain issue, from 85% to 57% overnight. I had switched off sync and GPS, and had turned on airplane mode. Any idea what's the cause?

Thanks to Kelvinti bro's help, I managed to flash the MIUI 8 Global Beta 6.9.9 ROM this morning.

It was a tedious process I must say.

Few things to note :

1. When you install MiFlash, install it in the default folder (I act smart and change it)
2. Whichever folder name or file name you used, CANNOT have any space

Once again .... BIG BIG

Same. Having drain with Android, Android system. Maybe 5-10% overnight. Restarted with no avail. Only luckily battery is large.

Standard OTA updated to MIUI 8 Global stable. Hoping future updates plug the leak.

Sometimes sudden battery drain very fast can be the problem of the motherboard and not the battery or App.

Many years ago happen to my HTC phone , go back to HTC service centre and get the MB change and all back to normal.

If battery problem than will be charging up extra slow and drain off extra fast , this happen to my iphone 4S many years back , after change battery all back to normal.
