Just bought the blue note 5 pro from newstar they dint install the global ROM. Hiaz need to unlock using the 2 number trick

official global rom isnt out. newstar isnt advertising their note 5s as having global rom either. Why did you think it would come with it?

Cos their FAQ say global lor. I tot they use the leak rom. Anyway I should done More homework myself lol.stupid me

u same as me , no issue just delete those bloat app can liao. Also I change the keyboard to Google as I find the keyboard diff to use but this is me lol

china rom is fine. the lack of global rom's implementation of notifications is a little annoying but possible to live with.

no, it just has miui old notifications. the new global implementation of it is more like stock android's system and is better for usage.

For good lighting doesnt matter miui or gcam. for low light use gcam.

One good thing about note 5 is the amazing focus. Really fast and no problem under low light.
Portrait mode works for both app
miui portrait gives nice blur

The main camera for note 5 is S5K2L7 which has 1/2.56" sensor size, slightly bigger than mi max ov16880 with 1/3.06-inch

There are 2 camera lens, under what situation, which one will be used? Anybody knows?

My wife's RMN4 charging port got problem, cannot charge. So bo bian, have to buy a new phone for her.

Went down to JTBC, got only 3GB/32GB Gold left & 6GB/64GB. Wife says Gold colour ok, so on the spot bought on Qoo10 & collect on the spot.

Paid $239. Less $4 off for 2 x $100 Qoo voucher, is $235.

Once power up the phone and got PlayStore and some basic Google Apps installed already.

This one. I charged it with quick charger but there is no quick charge.

12mp will always be used. 5mp is only there for portrait mode.
