Hopefully will? Lol. If I recall mediatek's source code for android are closed sourced, and they should be or should have already released the codes for 4.4 to manufacturers. :/

Alot of manufacturers have the source already its whether they wanna upgrade it anot. Even small china makers have updated their MTK phone to 4.4.2 already.

The rate at which review units come in, buying a phone seems redundant. The Note seems too tempting even though I find it a tad slow. HA!

well, if you want Android 4.4, maybe getting 1S would have more chances of getting it since its CPU is Snapdragon 400 by Qualcomm..

4) Run CPUz
5) Cannot update ROM to JHECNBE23.0 （V5）

can check if there is GLONASS?

this MTK chipset should not support Glonass but it's stated in the product specs.

GPS is the key reason i'm getting this so any clarification will be useful to all

Other than that, can Sidney share about GPS locking time in SG?

Still not fixed yet AFAIK. Even saving photos to SD card via the default camera app is also impossible. You need to use Camera360 though.

If MIUI doesnt come with 4.4 then if you want it then try other China OS by China Modders. They will surely do it for XM Note. But whether the OS is good or not this you have to test it then you know. So far China modders had been doing alot of Custom OS already.

Another good way is to compare the quality and moulding marks on the cover itself but since you do not have another confirmed original note best is to compare pics online. Then also run 一键测机。It have spec and testing scores of the real note so it will tell you directly if its real or fake.

Able to download from playstore and ran a score of 26000+

Able to download from playstore. Nothing skeptical from the results

Prompted me to download over the air and I did it successfully in 1 try

Installed Ludashi app, had a score of 36688 and it says it is a '真机'.

So, did I buy a fake one....?

Strange why the imei and serial not in the system? Does your box have the security sticker to scratch it off to check it in their website? Try that.

Very fishy about it why the imei and serial issnt in their database. Perhap you can email them to check it out too.

Also check if box and phone imei is the same too.

Your is the normal or enhanced Note?

Normal Antutu will be around 24000-25000, Enhanced is around 27000-28000.

If you say that can show u the first set like that the shop is fishy already. Just curious how much you bought it for?
