the two side fans are CM ones?

Nope they are Zalmans. All the other fans are transparent CMs but they are heavier than the Zalmans - not as good for tying to the chasis with cable ties (although I think still doable).

WTF! How come your dust is white in color one?
Plus 3 months and it is already like that, mine 1 year also never accumulate enough.

Quite a bit of construction happening in my area. I'm not that surprised with the dust build up.

Well ventilated case, yes. Dust filters, yes too.

my i7 4770k runs 4.2ghz

idle is 29-32deg (no ac)
26-30deg (with ac)
full load x264 with intel xtu 86deg (3hrs run)
dota2 gets 40-60deg

stock intel cooler with
3 top exhaust
2 front intake
1 side intake

all controlled by fanxpert2 aisuite3 full rpm mode.

nt sure to go for corsair h80i or tt water 3 pro.

Since I am buying aircon unit soon, given that my room temperature is 29~31 degrees due to hot carpark next to my room, having 23 degree aircon with reduced humidity will make my dota2 gaming temp down to 65 from 82 anot?

Drop in temp should be linear. Meaning if at 31 deg your GPU run at 82 deg, in 23 deg air con your GPU should run at 74 deg.

Jin jelly, never tried using PC at my room with air con on more than 3 times. :( been relying on a 140mm fan hooked up to the controller to cool me.

Oic linear equations. Thanks!

Haha hoven00, it's humidity I am battling against. And it's not good for motherboard. Will short anytime with high humidity. That's why I ventilate before power up system.

Even in extreme high humidity its very unlikely it can cause shorting directly in the air :s13: At most only corrosion or indirectly cause shorting due to other extra elements but never directly due to humidity or even moisture one lah haha.

Not necessary linear as there are other factors involved.

So what to do to make my temp full load 65 when playing dota2? Currently 82 without aircon.

Use dry ice trick? :D

There isnt any case made of stainless steel on the market right now that I know of, not even from obscure brands. Most cases are made from either SECC steel or aluminium, neither of which can be easily corroded with SG's humidity.

Probably will need years before you can see something starting to happen.

What graphic card are you using? I'm using a powercolor 7870 myst and even when I was using it without a case, dota 2 temps were usually in the 70's with a clean heatsink and auto fan speed.

My aluminium lian li casing start to corrode after 2 years. Then I switch to bd28.

Huh your gpu can put outside your casing? What cable connector did you get?

I plan to buy msi 760 tf gaming oc 4gb.

According to internet temp benchmark, full load in aircon was 65 degrees

myst is a hot card.. like literally. it only has a single fan to cool what is essentially a watered down 7950 which runs hot. the sapphire implementation of tahiti LE is better with a dual fan design and i read before the temps are 5-10deg less on same benchmarks than the myst.

i wouldnt go for open air cooling tho.. the heat shroud itself acts as a heat sink so if u put in a case with high static pressure and airflow can bring down temps. i install 2 140mm fan on the top of my case and my myst temps went down 5 deg across all games. now it hover at 80-82 deg for intensive games like bf, previously 85-87. dota 2 probably 70s (cos i dont hear the fan speed ramping up, didnt bother to verify)
