Yup the email was an auto reply immediately .... and reflected online 2 days later

Yes! i submitted on 4th Apr, reflected in their system on 5th Apr and now i called in, the CSO says it has been used to offset all my outstanding and i now do not have any outstanding to pay! :)

But i wonder why they insisted i cannot use my Festive Promo Op$ to offset outstanding b4 i made the Op$ redemption (on the previous 2 occasions when i called in to verify) :s11:

Lol. Cos they dun know better. They can't be asking customer to follow a term that is not in the TnC.

That may be good news as DBS is more lenient. Waive off annual fee easily and service definitely better.

Which ANZ card, and transfer to which (or new) DBS card? Any details mentioned in the letter, or is it nothing specific?

DBS bought over ANZ retail business in singapore.

Thanks, yes I know, but the other member mentioned that he'd received a letter in the mail about it. So I was wondering if the letter said anything specifically about which ANZ card was becoming which DBS card and effective when, how the rewards programme was changing if at all, etc. Or was it just a general non-specific mailer informing individual ANZ card holders, what was in the press or on their website already.

It is a generic letter telling customer that they sold their retail business to DBS. i believe eventually it will become DBS Optimum card and up to DBS to change the terms and condition or totally scrap the card. I don't think anyone has the detail now. To play safe, I would accumulate current optimum$ to 50, redeem it and stop using the card until further notice.

Section 2.10.3 hints that DBS will not be rebranding ANZ's cards, but instead providing an existing DBS card with "most similar credit card product benefits and features"

"Based on this mapping exercise, affected customers will be issued a new Transferee Credit Card, save in certain instances, for example, where a customer already holds the same Transferee Credit Card"

Wonder how they deal with dbs altitude and anz signature since they are quite similar
