Hi

Recently bought the B&W CM8 and CM center. Looking at the A30 series receiver. Which model do you recommend and price? Currently i am using the Onkyo 609, Deftech pro 800 front, pro 2000 center and SVS PC12-NSD.

Thanks.

Hi,

I will recommend you to consider at least RX-A1030/1020 range onwards. If you would prefer a good power output to drive it beautifully, consider RX-A2030/2020 or RX-A3030/3020.

CM8 :
Recommended amplifier 30W - 150W into 8Ω
Sensitivity 88dB spl (2.83V, 1m)

Cheers!

I've been reading that the AVR673 is sufficient enough for KEF T series compared to the Aventage. Any other key functionality that Aventage offers compared to the basic models?

Update: Make it AV675 instead as it is the new model now.

Good. You have made a decision then.

Enjoy it soon!

Final question - any real advantage A730 offers compared to V675? Pricewise they are about the same. The website does not seem to compare different models. Same series yes but not Aventage compared to others.

Hi YamahaSG,

Can the YSP-4100 accept input from SACD player via coaxial / optical / HDMI?
Can the DAC decode DSD64, DSD128?
What is the highest sampling rate of the DAC for PCM?

Hi Orion,

YSP-4100 offers a Coax / two Optical inputs & four HDMI Inputs.
Built-in DAC offers 192kHz/24-Bit Digital-to-Analog conversion but does not support DSD Decoding.
Highest sampling rate for PCM is 96KHz.

Cheers!

Hi Kevin,

I suggest you to visit the place where you make your purchase of B&W. They carry our AVENTAGE A30 Series too.

Cheers!

Thanks YamahaSG,

In what ways can we play 192/24 materials on the YSP-4100?
Is there anyway i can configure YSP-4100 to display what sampling rate its playing?

Hi!

You don't need to raise the volume before you start the auto-calibration. You can just plug in the mic and place the mic in your sitting position. Then press the start calibration and it will raise volume by itself.

Cheers!

Hi Yamaha,

I just bought the home theatre 5.1 system (display set) from Courts today. After I go through the warranty cards they gave me, I found shortage of warranty card for 2 bookshelf speakers. When I go back to the sale person, he said he will request Yamaha to reprint and pass to me in 1-2 weeks time but he said the invoice can also present if anything happen.

I would like to know whether I need to chase for the proper warranty card from him or can I just keep the invoice and show this at service centre if there is any problem if I cannot get from him.

Thanks...

Hi,

Thank you for your purchase.

We recommend you to retrieve the Warranty Application Form from the salesperson. In the event of no application found in our system, your Invoice from Courts is a Proof-of-Purchase and the date of validity will be consider as stated in the Receipt.

So whichever way, do keep your receipt well.

Cheers!

Hi Yamaha,
I am considering getting YHT-S401 or YSP-2200 for my new home. My living room consists of dinning area as well. I don't have wall on both sides of my living room. My right side is a balcony with 6 sliding glass doors and will have curtains install. My left side consists of 3 sliding glass doors that seperate my kitchen area. My rear will be my dinning area with a wall but there will be a big mirror install. Will the sound bar work for my kind of setup?

Thank you for your reply Yamaha. I'll definitely ask the sales person to give me but sometimes you know how hard to get this kind of things especially the sales is done.

Anyway, whether I get from him or not, I'll keep the receipt well.

Btw, for the other cards that I have, do I need to send by mail or can I do online registration?
