the i7 model looks good and fits my needs since i'm comparing between getting that and the macbook pro so the increase in SSD size definitely is a big plus. anyone has got it yet and any comments about it?

Is this the i7, QHD touchscreen + 8GB RAM + 256GB SSD model? It's 200 g heavier than the base model, and 2 mm thicker. But I've never set eyes on it before... it's advertised in Harvey Norman but I didn't see a display set before.

Hi,

Wish to get some advices. Planning to buy the M-processor one. But I wonder if the 4GB is enough for me? I'm using it for browsing and documents most of the time. I do use lightroom and photoshop for occasionally photo editing but not a heavy editor. And a heavy youtuber.

Otherwise, would it be wise to get the 8GB one overseas?

Thanks!

Anyone using the ux305 m processor to play football manager? That's the only game I play. Not sure if it can run football manager smoothly.

Anyone managed to get this at Comex at a good price ? Eg ; Cheaper than $999 or with additional freebies like upgraded ram ?

PS : Just to clarify that earlier in one of my posts I had mentioned that I saw this model going for $899 but I realised that I mixed it up with another model. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Looking forward to know if anyone has gotten any good deals on this model !

Also, the RAM in can be upgraded for this model right ? Was at Harvey Norman earlier and the sales person mentioned that this model the parts are all built in and can't be upgraded.

RAM on UX305 is soldered to motherboard so there will be no upgrade

Thanks for sharing, such a good deal compared to local prices! I'm sorely tempted although I don't need the portability. Was considering the VivoPC at first. Decisions, decisions...

Now the computer show is selling the basic model at S$899 , at BEST DENKI booth giving away free gifts - Wireless mouse , thumb drive , blue tooth speaker , blue tooth head phone , Office 360 (1st year free) , antivirus software (1st year free).

If pay by Amex card than can redeem S$30 Robinson voucher.

Most of the other booths although sell at S$899 but some said no free gifts and some only gives wireless mouse...

What mode of payment did you use to pay for Asus UX305 laptop at microsoft store?
Was it singapore credit card or singapore paypal?
I read that some of the ppl's comments that microsoft store do not accept singapore credit card and singapore paypal.
I am interested to get one but my budget is only 1K.
So hope to hear from you guys soon.
Thanks a lot.
