Feel like selling away my Samsung Evo Plus 2TB or return it. No stock of cpu and gpu makes pc building very hard.

The evo 970 really needs heatsink to run. I bought mine from newegg 2 years ago, it wa idle at 55C and load at ~75C on Asus X99 sabertooth. Once it hit over 70C, the speed throttle badly. After moving to X570 TUF with heat spreader, the temp never go over 60C.

It's 970 evo plus.. I played a game from the ssd itself. Super hot man.. There's 2 temperatures reading. The temp2 reading is almost 80+

88Degree Celsius? That's not normal. Issit 970 Evo Plus or 970 Evo?
On load = you stress test it?

Laptop here.

Intel 660p: Max 51C / Idle 38C
970 Evo plus: Max 85C / Idle 61C (with Thermal Pad to MB)
970 Evo plus: Max 71C / Idle 47C (with Thermal Pad to MB + Thermal Pad to bottom panel)

Laptop is seriously more responsive now.

Superb experience with Amazon!
Received my 970 Evo Plus from Ninja today but was surprised to see that it is Made In Thai.
Production was Oct 2020 though relatively new.

Thailand? Mine also from Korea 27th Oct 2020 Batch.
Selling it away @ slightly lower price than I paid. I am using 4th Generation Intel Core i5 Processor. No way to slot in this SSD.
