Anyone has tried a smart switch that works with this?

Smart Glass/Film

Try to diy myself on a mirror.. fail badly.
U can try get from tb, they can custom the solar flim for you. It is remotely control.. ie can use your broadlink or rf blast to control.
Problem is that, you really require a professional to stick it on your glass. I tried, alot of water mark and bubbles.. super tough to do it.

Can it be installed by spraying some water on the glass then use a squeeze? Using the water should eliminate those bubbling...

First of all, IR needs line of sight. Is there any blockage?

Secondly, did u try using the iHC or EControl app and does it yield the same result? There are more delays and points of failure from Google cloud -> Broadlink Cloud -> your rm pro

Any of u using IP camera which uses SMART Life / eWelink app? Or know any IP camera using that app, cos I wanna get one that can integrate with IFTTT to trigger broadlink when motion detected for example, thanks in advance! :s13:

I hv GH and Broadlink. Shd I get Sonoff RF or Sonoff basic?
None of the above... Sonoff basic is a esp8266 based wifi switch whereas sonoff rf is a esp9266 sup up with rf radio. Sonoff RF is an overpriced rf plug due to the esp8266. You will b better off getting a normal RF plug.

I have 3 brand new spares that I can let go for $7 each. They still come with 1 year warranty with the local dealer. pm if u r interested.

For s2 broadlink motion sensor, after it detects motion, it does not detect anymore until like 10min later. Why is this so?

Sorry I didn't make it clear. I'm looking for a switch not a plug.

Oh, i am using this WIFI switch. You need neutral line for this.

If you are looking for RF switch, you are spoilt for choices... There are more cost effective solutions like Funry, Yoogee or even the native Broadlink switches. Sonoff is good if you are running a mqtt backbone. If you are going to use the ewelink ecosystem, then you will have to integrate with Broadlink via IFTTT.

My suggestion is to keep it simple.

Go to settings under delay time and change.
I tried everything but still same. Until I had to try changing the jumpers inside the sensor, then it at least lights up when there is motion.
Actually whats the delay time for? I tot it is to delay the detection or delay the alarm from ringing?

Delay is the gap time between the sensor activating.

To delay the action, it’s “hold time”.
