After upgrade to kitkat, my S view window cannot work as well.Totally disappointed. The last upgrade caused my phone motherboard to crash and died.
Anyone knows how to resolve this?

Samsung already say that kitkat doesn't watch with 3rd party s view. Have to wait for update to solve this issue.

If you have not updated, please consider holding on.

External SD access is restricted. I have some apps that won't work as they need access to external SD e.g. Sygic.

Copy the sygic folder from your SD card to phone memory and it will work.

Change of CSC, does it need root?

Check the main thread there was a discussion on it..please backup your files it will reset the phone after you do it..

yeah, my nexus 5 reached my house yesterday, so just nice give my note 3 to my mom to use. EASY process from iphone 5 to note 3 using the transfer wizard. :D:D:D

for me, i just use this *#272*IMEI# in the phone dialer. The CSC menu auto pops up, not sure for those rooted with custom roms people. probably have to be using 4.3 SIN csc one.

Can you advise whether you do a factory reset or other reset on your note 3? Currently my video is not able to save onto my SD card as it prompt me that SD card have been removed. However the card is still inside my phone. Can assist to solve? My email is not able to sync also. Thank you.

Yeah! Jelly Bean to Kitkat is considered a major update within the 4.0 series!:s8:

A hard reset is always recommended after such "major" upgrade! :s22:

I did that too to iron out possible conflicts, apps caches, data issue, thus apps FC.:)

Not at all!

My photos and videos are saved nicely on SD card! No issue at all since day 1 after upgraded to Kitkat, before and after hard reset.

I'm using stock camera!

You may try to reformat your SD card, then restart your phone to see how it goes.:)

SD Card cannot be written by 3rd party apps, all stock apps can write to it with no issues. :)
