Galaxy Note 3 4.4.2 Kit Kat update

guys, i just got my note 3 today. It was already on version 4.3 when i got it. So i went for the software update and it allowed me to download and install updates. But after the update, my phone is still at version 4.3, and this time when i clicked on the software update, it says im already at the latest version. I cant update to 4.4 leh, how come ar?

Restart your phone. Don;t switch on WiFi. Press the update button for few times to see if it works!

If it doesn't, switch on WiFi and try!

Does this apply to all service provider? Cos i just understood that starhub users can update. Singtel users like me can update to 4.4?

mine can only read max up to one month, if I select sync all, it can't sync too. the arrow will just go rd n rd non stop but nothing come up...

seems like an issue with stock email, download aquamail instead... much better


Samsung Email app sync gets turned off - Page 2 - xda-developers

I have posted this issue also earlier please check the page above, either use another mail application or leave your master synch on so it will get the emails, any specific error you got?

Google it ... When i did i saw some article what might might cause this error
- Is yours Singtel set?
- rooted phone with froze application causes this
- low battery?

[Some codes aren't working after frozen stuff.

4.4.2 SIN (singtel) still not out yet.... see others using kitkat already really envy.

I wonder why Singtel is holding on to the firmware and don't release.
Unless singtel apps cannot work on 4.4.2?

It could be that the SingTel bloat wares are not ready for Kitkat yet. lol!

Mine is Singtel set also. Got the update on the 2nd day...

Sammobile website should have it.

But KK 4.4.2 updated the boot loader. So I am not sure can JB 4.3 still run under this new boot loader. The update note of KK 4.4.2 OTA did warned us we are unable to downgrade once we install KK 4.4.2. Please try n update us on the result if you can. Good luck.

After upgraded, battery life worse! and got hang multiple times per day! I already factory reset but still the same....
