Anyone knows if samsung will patch the external SD card problem caused by 4.4.2? It screwed up dropsync for my mum's note 3.. ~_____~

My gps works fine. Make sure your GPS setting is not set to power-saving mode.

Do you guys have GPS problems? Seems like after the last 2 updates, my GPS cannot get any lock. Its like something interfering with the GPS software/hardware. Hmmm...

After factory reset, the GPS is working now and seems like the last 2 firmware updates caused some problems with Waze and Sygic. Even googlemaps is affected as well. Oh well, guess its always good to factory reset after a firmware update. Seems to clean up the phone in some ways.

What I mean was there were actually 2 updates for KK. The 1st update was about 400Mb while the 2nd update was about 40Mb in file size. Sorry if I may have confuse you, the patch I mentioned is the 2nd update.

it seems those 3rd app need to access the ext sd card will not work,if your phone r rooted,check whether you can do backup to the extsd card using titanium backup...for mine after updated to kk,the backup won't work until i applied the patch then it works again

Latest MX Player Pro v1.7.26 is able to delete movie files on ext SD card.

I did not root my phone. So far I did not experience any problem. I'll try out to do a backup onto the ext. SD card. Thanks for the info.

I check the Titanium backup in the Play store, I think I will not be able to do that as titanium backup need the phone to be rooted though.
