So far I used Samsung
Note 2 battery bloated.
Note 3 motherboard died on the last day of warranty. Went to exchange a new one.
Note 4. Battery spoil causes phone keep hanging.
Now I know note 5 got sleeping issue, nah. If they don't settle it, I will buy iPhone 6s.
Samsung just can't get things right.

Lucky I stay put didn't buy note 5 at launch.
hopefully it is not motherboard problem else whole batch of Samsung phones need to be recalled. Samsung sg seems to be keeping mute.
You all should launch a big complain through the press.

every phone got their own share of problem de la.

you sure can find a reason to fault it. :s13:

If it's such a major problem you wouldn't keep buying next one le lol. I've said it before my friends last time kenna the iPhone 5 battery issue and it's ALL of them and even despite 1-1 exchange still nothing changed. Battery can drain 10% in standby and this is with location off, so bad until my friend has to turn off data when not in use when she's outside but still can't survive a day outside. Funny is how none of them complain to Apple and still went on to buy the next iPhone lol.

I am not loyal to Samsung, i just use them but cos of the hardware and software so if Samsung screw up major big time i'll just switch that's all. So far the sleeping beauty issue hasn't been a problem for me but i'm sure there must have been something i've done or not done cos so many people kenna, i can't be that heng.

Mine is gold 32G with sleeping issue.

However, I disabled weather display and have not had the issue since. Hope this fixes it permanently!

I have encounter once, "sleep beauty" incident, when it stun like a vegetable :D for a few seconds till it recovers. Coincidentally, it happens as I step out of wifi zone and it tries to connect to mobile network. I wonder if that is partially the cause. I have stop using the weather widget as someone suggested in this forum and so far so good. Will continue to monitor... hope for the best.

Telco, 32/64gb, Color & which temple u go???:s13:

I am one lol but not that heng, just not too big problem cos even when i kenna, it's like 2 - 3 seconds only. I bought 32gb black from Singtel. Maybe need to order online at 2-3am then will not have sleeping beauty, cos u know it's no longer sleepy when you order at that time :D

After testing a few days, i can confirm that it doesn't solve sleeping beauty issue :(

Although it did help a little. Previously I'll get sleeping beauty few times a day, but after disabling weather it happens once every few days.

My phone is a launch day set, gold 64gb. I reset my phone and resinstalled my apps one at a time since day 1. The sleeping problem came a few days later. On the 2nd firmware update, I cleared my cache, reset and reinstalled everything again. Problem came back a few days later.

I have tried:
- Hard reseting and reinstalling
- Deleting my cache partition
- Disabling S voice
- Turning off off-screen memo

Nothing works. And it's not due to my fingers touching the screen when I turn it on either.

What I notice is that the problem seems to happen whenever I move around. The wifi on my set seems to be rather flaky - there are times when it just couldn't connect to any of my base stations despite seeing the SSIDs, and I had to turn off Wifi and turn it on again before it could grab the signal. So now I'm suspecting it could be a connectivity issue with the set trying to wake up the wifi whenever we turn on the set.

This is really shitty. We shouldn't be troubleshooting on behalf of Samsung.

Ah yes... I've noticed the WiFi issue too!!!
Seems like there is something wrong with the WiFi detection on Note 5????
