There is a few good studies over at home-barista forum that share the recommended water receipts. But in short, the best practice is to use non-scaling water and thus there is no need to descale.eh profitec go is brass boiler

Hi guys, been so long since I visited here. Hope you all are doing well. Does FCC does general servicing. I remember asking them before and they said if nothing wrong, don't bother. Haha. That was 4 yearsago though. If counter space is really a concern then no choice. Should fetch a decent price for second hand. I serviced my bezzera after ten years and it continue to serve me well too.
My brother sells away his machine and get a new one every five years instead of servicing. This is quite smart imo.
It's like a car, eventually you will need to.Hi guys, been so long since I visited here. Hope you all are doing well. Does FCC does general servicing. I remember asking them before and they said if nothing wrong, don't bother. Haha. That was 4 yearsago though.
Saw the aria, looks like a good small machine, but have no reason to change out my mitica if it can be serviced.
I see, I strongly believe need to service too. Just weird that they reject me in the past. It's like a car, eventually you will need to.
I sent my office machine for servicing because my co-workers were savage.
I thought that machine was hard to sell off with that condition, so I had no choice but to send for service.
They will also do an inspection on the inside and they will tell u which part is important to repair, which one's optional so you can control the budget. I did all and bill to the company anyway.
Came back feels like new but we sold that off and got another replacement machine since there was a sale and i got an offer. I think if I service every 3 to 5 years, my bezzera could last for decades.
The servicing is only on the grouphead and wand, not the interior hydraulic system. But they will give you a brief inspection.I see, I strongly believe need to service too. Just weird that they reject me in the past.
I see, thanks! With a mitica on sale now, tempted to just purchase a new one and sell this off!The servicing is only on the grouphead and wand, not the interior hydraulic system. But they will give you a brief inspection.
If there are no problems with those, or you been using softener, should be fine.
You can go to their website and order the grouphead and wand servicing directly.
Depends on how old. I probably sell it off if it's more than five years.I see, thanks! With a mitica on sale now, tempted to just purchase a new one and sell this off!
There are no hydraulics in an espresso machine.…. Don‘t hantam and give nonesense info. The servicing is only on the grouphead and wand, not the interior hydraulic system. But they will give you a brief inspection.

the most important thing in a general servicing in espresso machine is to ensure the integrity of the pressurized boilers and water lines. They should inspect, tighten, lube and replace parts that are worn out. This includes any seals, over pressure valves, anti suction valves etc.Hi guys, been so long since I visited here.
