Hi OCBC,

What's the best way to withdraw AUD$ time deposit without incurring fee/charges OR with minimum fee/charges Upon Maturity ?

Hi ngbc,

You may visit any of our full branches to give instructions for the withdrawal of your foreign currency time deposit.

Do note that the withdrawal instruction needs to reach the bank at least 2 business days before the maturity date.

Hi Nearlythere,

Could you drop us a PM with more details, so that we could check on this for you?

Thank you.

^DG

Hi OCBC, why is it that my filled orders are sometimes much higher than my order price? Also I've been charged commission fees for the same counter multiple times within the same order. Why is this so? :(

Hi Nearlythere,

We have not heard back from you.

Should you like us to help check on this, do drop us a PM with your contact details.

Thank you.

is OCBC going to revise the minimum commission for trading online now that the lot size has decreased from 1k to 100?

Hi,

Thank you for your enquiry.

We do review our fees and charges from time to time, and our minimum commission is competitive with other brokerages in Singapore. As such, we don’t have plans to revise our rates for now.

I just realised OCBC auto-deducted $160.50 from my 360 account without my knowledge.

Apparently there's no further details apart from the subject 'Annual Fee'.

I don't think I have other OCBC credit cards apart from 365 card of which the annual fee doesn't corresponds.

What is this annual fee all about and why is OCBC able to auto deduct money from my account without my consent?

Hi ngbc,

There would be no extra charges/penalty for withdrawal of Time Deposit if the instructions are given timely.

However there is a charge for deposit/withdrawal in foreign currency notes. This information is available on page 4 of our pricing guide, available for public view at:

http://www.ocbc.com/assets/pdf/pricing guides/personal banking pricing guide.pdf

We hope this clarifies.

Hi OCBC,

Wanted to call your hotline (1800 363 3333) earlier to clarify some credit card issues. But call did not get through (as usual) and was put on queue, or I may leave my number and the CSO will call back the next day afternoon.

Just wondering if it's an urgent case, such as to report loss of credit card or fraudulent transaction on my card, I will need urgent assistance asap and don't think I'm able to wait so long.

Will there be an alternative platform/hotline to handle such urgent cases? Thanks.

Hi ngbc.

We apologise if our previous responses were not satisfactory.

The most economical way would be to instruct the bank to withdraw your Time Deposit on maturity date & to credit the proceeds into your SGD account. Please remember that has to be done 2 business days before maturity date.

We will simply convert the money at the prevailing exchange rate, when the funds go in to your SGD account. And there will be no extra charges or penalty.

From there, you can choose to transfer out to other bank account via FAST or issue out a cheque.

Hi goh6570

That definitely didn't sound like a good experience. We hope your 360 account was finally opened though

If you'd like to speak to our service manager regarding your experience, feel free to let us know & we'll make the necessary arrangements

Hello to OCBC. Thumbs up for your active online communication here.
I notice a lot of forumer not happy with CSO via call, is there any measure to tackle this problem?
My primary cc is ocbc365, I worry that if there is a need, will be difficult to call in. Besides, somebody complaints that min spending for auto waiver of annual fee had been increased to 10k? That's bad. I'm type lazy to call for waiver, somemore need to wait long time if cannot get CSO. *Primary card spending is around 7~8k I guess.
One thing I like POSB, even for my secondary card, hotline to "digital CSO" is very friendly and easy to waive the annual fee.

Hello OCBC

Well done in doing whatever leaving the share price below $9 steadily for so long.

What is the cost of using Twitter, FB and HDWZ channels to connect with your customers?

Is the team supporting these channels rotated and the initials representative of a staff or the staff behind the initials ever-changing?
