there are so many similar conplaints on google play store, but there is no response at all from OCBC on what is the problem. just compare with how DBS handles the critical review on google play store.
on a side note, if you think that the problem lies with the cached data on the phone, that after the phone update the cached data has post a conflict with the app internal mechanism, and the solution is to uninstall and reinstall the app, then this should be put up clearly in the app error message, instead of blaming user's phone to be insecure or rooted. if your software developers team are not able to figure the potential problems and provide clear and proper solutions / error messages, please replace them with better ones. it is not worth to save some software developer salary to lose majority of your customers. and please make sure that the app works properly first before boasting of more advanced feature like the recent ai powered voice based virtual assistant. what is the point of having a new feature that is inaccessible because user cannot log in?
