Hello OCBC Team,
I encounter a bad experience when the ocbc hardware token was faulty and getting a new token.
Here is what happen.
1) ocbc hardware token faulty, went to ocbc branch to inform and return faulty token.
2) signed a form and return the faulty device and was informed by branch CSO have to wait 5-7 business day for new token.
3) Waited exactly 12 days to receive the token by mail.
4) no issue activating my token for OCBC 360 account(internet banking), however there is issue
activating this token for iOCBC securities account.
5) Called ocbc hotline on 25dec. CSO informed that have to wait till tuesday 27 as iocbc securities team only work from tuesday and will get back to me on tuesday 27 dec.
6) OCBC never call back on tuesday 27 dec. I call today to ask on this.
7) Another CSO from iocbc securities inform me that the reason of being unable to activate my hardware token for iocbc securities account is due to different hw token serial number. Only way to resolve this is go to their main branch or sign a new authorization letter(pending this to be physically mailed to me) to change to this "new" hardware token.
Currently I am still waiting for the mail(he did inform that he could email me but I chose not to) and I still have to mail it back.
This is so troublesome, seriously someone cock up or is this standard SOP? Poor OCBC Phone CSO have to listen to all these everyday because of the SOP or somebody cockup!
Just 1 hardware token faulty and it takes more than 20days to resolve(currently not resolved), imagine if I only have 1 trading account and urgently need to sell stocks online I could have GG liao.
Please respond and please forward this to Yvonne Cheong, the one who "signed" the letter which was together with the new hardware token that had stated in the letter :
