Hi OCBC,
May I know if it's possible to withdraw USD cash over the counter from OCBC business account? Thanks
Hi OCBC,
I want to transfer my SRS account from DBS to OCBC in order to start the BCIP. But so far when I go to the branch to request for the relevant forms to fill up and ask questions regarding BCIP and SRS transfer, the staff do not appear to be familiar with it.
Is there anyway you could send me the hardcopy versions of the forms required to make the change in SRS operators?
I would also like to know if doing such a transfer would include the 5% SRS withdrawal penalty which is normally incurred when one makes an early withdrawal before age 62.
WIth regards to the BCIP, is it required for one to make a purchase every month, or can he choose not to make any purchase for a certain month (say due to market downturn) by informing OCBC via online banking?
Thanks.
Hi Wolfnet,
To transfer your SRS account from DBS to OCBC, you will need to visit our branches to complete these forms:
- Account Transfer Form
- Integrated Account Opening Form (IAO form)
OCBC does not charge for account transfer-in. However, transfer-out fees may be levied by the existing agent bank. You may wish to check with DBS for any fees involved.
BCIP allows customers to change the investment amount or stop the investment at any time (subject to cut-off dates and timing).
Information on BCIP may be found on https://www.ocbc.com/personal-banking/investments/bluechip.html
For more details or should you require further clarification, do call our hotline at 1800 363 3333.

Hi OCBC, which savings account from OCBC is best suited as a joint account by 2 adults?
Hi Ocbc, is it possible to change from yourh investor to the young investor (by frank)?
Hi Guys, would like to remind you guys to be mindful of the payment due date stipulated in the mobile app vs the statement. I have not been reading the e-statements and always been duly paying my bills based on the due date reflected in the mobile app. Unfortunately, I was recently billed with an interest charge when payment was made on due date 27th Dec but the bank insisted that statement says 22nd Dec (which is true but unfortunately I didnt read it). OCBC insisted that I had to show some evidence to prove that their app has indeed reflected 27th, but really who would screenshot the payment due date. I was pretty sure it read 27th because I confirmed on Xmas day that it was not due yet. In any case, my waiver request was reviewed add declined the very next day. Its a few hundred bucks that I can still afford, but cannot really understand why I had to bear when it was their system error.
For any of you guys who are not reading statements like me, do take note! I have proceeded to cancel all my cards so hopefully i dont have to put up with this in future, at least not with the same bank and their attitude.
The statement in mobile app is in PDF, how can it be wrong? 22 & 27 can look almost the same in a small screen!. Any way, the statement and payment due dates are always the same date for every months(+/- 3 days).
Additionally, you can do the followings:
1. Through online banking, set up a reminder for both e-mail/sms when statement is ready for viewing.
2. Through online banking, set up to receive e-mail/sms for payment due date.
3. Set up reminder in your smart phone.
4. Once received reminders, make a postdated payment through online banking. (not sure whether can do postdated payment if not enough money in bank account?).
5. Or use giro.
6. If can only pay credit card bills only after receiving salary, ask the bank to change the credit card payment due date to a later date.
