This is a common nutritional mistake. One can eat a diet with zero carb and yet still shoot your insulin level high. Oats and white pasta induces a lower insulin level than meat and fish.

Can you provide the online source for this chart?

just go polyclinic see dr and the chronic meds quite cheap

if u think statin kills ur kidney or liver, every 6 months dr will order kidney and liver function tests while u are on the med

risk of heart disease and sudden death is very real if it clots ur artery
My friend no high cholesterol but artery clot

We are now discussing about insulin, not glucose. Maybe you can post some papers of your own to demonstrate that oats and pasta induces a higher insulin level than meat and fish.

Insulin is the body's response to glucose entering the bloodstream....and glucose is produced when you ingest carbs....starchy carbs produce greater amounts of glucose.

lol people think veggies help to lower cholesterol LOLOLOL. The health info 20-30 years ago really succeeded in brainwashing an entire global population sia. Veggie auto = healthy.
Lower cholesterol is not the direct target.
Veggies has fiber for controlling digestion speed and antioxidants to stop reactive oxygen species. This is main goals/targets.

The lower cholesterol will happen by itself naturally when you take care of the foundations of health. Eating veggies alone also isn't enough. Lots of other things needed.

Grapes, watermelon, banana durians mango cherry and all dried fruits are high in sugar

Only take 1/2 of a small banana
1/3 of a longer banana
A tiny slice of watermelon or mango
Only a few seeds of durians.

For diabetic only can take 1 seed or 2 small seeds of durian.

For diabetic, avoid Quaker Oats. It is quite high in carbohydrates.

u dun understand high cholesterol patients, they like these......
if u ask them to jiak simi veggies etc, they will get angry. lol
of coz that is your diet plans cause u get use to it.
They can eat all these, if they know what the immediate negative side effects on the body are and how to overcome them within 24 hours.

But the trouble, is majority of them do not, and also don't pay attention to the signals given off by their body. So they overeat and then leave their body remains permanently damaged state after eating them.

Simple example:
1) salty food (sodium chloride) need to be opposed with high potassium (eg. banana fruit)
2) chargrilled/deep fried food need to be opposed with high antioxidants (eg concentrated fresh lemon)
3) bread or meat need to be opposed with leafy/cruciferous veggies
4) sugary dessert need to be opposed with fats and veggies

Then after eating so much, need to oppose with fasting and long aerobic exercise.

if u are on zero-low carb diet.....then your body is burning fat for energy....naturally your cholesterol will be higher than normal as you need those cholesterol particles to carry the fat around your body for metabolism and this is fine and no big deal by itself.

but if u are eating normal diet and have high cholesterol....then u need to watch for other biomarkers below:
1. high fasting triglycerides
2. high HBA1C(this is most important biomarker)
3. constant HBP....remember to not eat/drink at least an hour before taking your BP as it will skew the BP reading very significantly due to your kidney requiring time to clear out excess water in your blood vessels.
4. hip to waist ratio, anything above 1 is not a good sign...the smaller the number the better.

if you have all the above 4 at high/very high....medication can only help you this much....i would advise you to re-examine your dietary preferences....simple immediate fixes will be to cut out sugar/carbs completely and time restricted feeding. medications like statins/insulin jabs just treat the symptoms and not the root cause of the problem.

We need to cut off all ready and highly processed food. Example is ready to eat meals, potatoes chips, ready sauce etc

Eat as much wholesome and natural food as possible.

A balanced diets is not only for good physical health, it is also vital for mental health.

My first born stayed out for several years and suffered depression for years too.

Now that he has moved in with us for more than half year, he confirmed his mental health is good after he embraced natural wholesome food that we painstakingly prepared for them. The only problem left is his addiction to Coke Zero. It is so hard to convinced him otherwise. Also, he resisting taking vegetables fruit juices.

A word of caution: grapefruit will alter the medicine you take.

Here is a video that confirmed diet n depression

i've read cases of statin induced alzheimers....quite scary to see patients recovering almost immediately when taken off statins.

as for artery....the cause of the clots is not the cholesterol...cholesterol formed there because arterial walls got damaged by the glycation process.

think of it like your arm getting small cuts repeatedly by a razor and blood forming scabs. eating statins is like trying to peel away those scabs while ignoring the razor that continues cutting at your arm.

try to put him on an elimination diet and slowly add in products and see which ingredients affect him.
his brain chemistry might be reacting to certain mundane foods that cause his issues.

i've read some ppl find out that their brain react to something as mundane as soy sauce after using the elimination diet.

I think I figured out that your chart is actually a ratio called InsulinAUC to GlucoseAUC. The reason why meat is high is because the denominator of the ratio (glucose AUC) is very small. You should instead just compare raw figures for InsulinAUC.

Fiddler is referring to the peak insulin response as deduced from peak glucose level at 2 hours post-meal (= Glycemic index).

This glycation process... is very nasty.
Because the damaged walls will accumulate repair agents that make it bulge out and then collect more foreign matter including bacteria which is basically worsens the whole situation because bacteria can dodge the white blood cells by staying hidden and unreachable here.

And where this bacteria come from??? From the mouth bacteria through the teeth gums.

Will the followings appeal more to you?

Sometimes we indulge in sinful fried food for a change. Else our kids will rebel.

Roasted duck with yam ring and lettuce

Slowly and gradually change your diets.

Is quite hard to break a life long eating habits… IT Can be done, if there is a will…

Fried chicken fillet and fried oyster mushrooms
