super super tempted by the flat screen, just imagine how easy it would be to get screen protectors, anyone gaming aggressive on this set can share their experiences?

Sent from 1+3T using GAGT

For my Mate 10 tempered glass protector, the 4 sides are showing a 0.5cm border which the seller says it's due to screen not flat at the edge.
The original screen protector didn't have this issue. Anyone has similar issue?

The original screen protector is not tempered glass.

The screen at the edges are slightly curved so unless you get the full edged protector you will see the usual air bubble border. I couldn't use the full protector as my rugged armor is too tight and pries the glass off.

Just to share some observation with respect to the supplied ac charger. Plugging the supplied cable results in super charging mode. Plugging the original v20 cable only shows fast charging. Plugging the original belkin usbc 3 cable also shows fast charging only.

Good to know the seller isn't pulling a fast one on me. He sounded quite sincere and even offered to give me a upgrade price when his stock of full body screen protection arrive next week.
Should be quite likely to upgrade as the air bubble too obvious.

Any issues with Mate 10 Pro OLED display? Any burn-in or colour tint issues that surfaced on other phones?

How to tell if it is in fast charging or super charging mode?

Yes me. I've changed to two screen protector in the span of 3 days and there's this white visible border.

I did mine at Changi City Point, the stall is on L2 in front of the escalator beside Singtel shop.
Not sure if they have the pro version yet.

I think it's a common problem with all Android devices. I toggle between iOS and Android devices frequently, and notices that it is very common for Android devices to lose massive amount of battery overnight. I suspect the culprit being background apps that are still running. Although you don't see them in the task manager, I am sure there are rogue apps that secretly runs. For iOS devices, I don't see such a problem unless the battery is very old. Even this 2 plus years old iPhone 6S I am using still holds out very well overnight, I.e. On an average, I observed only 1 to 3% battery lost overnight.

Might not be rogue apps. I guess even Android system services can be sucking up the battery too.
