Waaa that bad ah ? Like so obvious? This wasnt so with the previous ipad mini 5 right?
i find it very obvious
mini 5... the refresh scan is on the landscape side.. so jelly is there
mini 6... the refresh scan is on the portrait side
usually ppl read text in portrait mode, that's why ppl complained about it
this can't be fixed by software..
apple can choose to mitigate it by using 120 hz refresh, or changing the line refresh scan back to landscape
ipad pro should be same refresh scanning at portrait side
ipad air is landscape refresh scanning
i tried to view on my ipad pro 12.9", 120hz refresh
i cannot detect jelly effect
if i drop drop it to 60hz refresh scan, i can detect slight jelly effect
but not as bad as mini, which is weird...
i think the panel they sourced is prob cheap or cmi type / or it's less obvious if the screen is larger
In this case, 11" pro / air > mini for portability if ppl cannot stand the jelly effect
there's no other way
