Hehehehe... Good charging and conditioning practice. It will work wonders. Proven since iPhone 4 till now. In fact, my iPhone 4 batt condition is still so good after 2 years (without any replacement claim) that I am passing it to my bro who is still on 3GS.

Full Cycle Charge (drop to below 20% then charge, ideally drop to below 10% then charge will be even better) + Trickle Charge = prolong battery life.

I have at least 4 to 5 real life cases to prove that it works - since iPhone 4 and 4S till now. Some of these life cases didn't believe and kept complaining about poor batt life and are convinced now after following what I have shared.

Yesterday, with LTE and everything turned on (wifi, push mail, bluetooth), light use of video and games. phone lasted from 9am to 4pm.

Today, without LTE and everything turned on. My phone lasted from 8am to 9pm. No games, videos & music though.

My conclusion is that with moderate use, it should last during working hours without LTE.

I am having a difference experience. LTE has little impact for mine. But WiFi (5GHz) has significant impact. Once I am home and turn on WiFi, batt drains significantly faster even when I don't use it much and leave it there sitting (at home use iPad lo) except occasional check message (SMS).

Average for past 4 nights, WiFi drains approx 15% for just 7pm to about midnight. That's alot more compared to my iP4. But then, iP4 was on 2.4GHz WiFi, not 5GHz WiFi. Not sure if that's the reason for the drain.

Test it out for next few nights and see how...

1st few charge battery drain abnormally fast compared to iPhone 4S. Now after approximate. 5 to 6 charge battery is improving, without data network with wifi surfing Internet battery can last longer than both iPhone 4 n 4s. With 3G turn on battery more lasting also.

Usage: 7 hrs, 23 mins
Standby 11 hrs, 8 mins
Battery Level: 15% left

Bluetooth: Off
LTE: On
Wifi: On for about 1 hr
Email: Push Off, Fetched manually occasional
Also occasionally Faceboking, Instagramming.

100% at around 1030pm, sms for like 1 hr drain to 95% morning 830am wake up 90% using my phone to surf net around half hour plus 82% now

My first iphone 5 first charge last me 2 days. I turn on LTE, make a few nasty call, surf net, Whatsapp on all the way, notification and privacy mostly disable. Really last for 2 days.
After I RMA and get a new iPhone 5 and restore back from iTune.....
Haiz...dun want to talk about it liao.

okay got off the phone with the M1 CSO. She was really friendly.

Anyway, yes we can exchange our iPhone5 even after the 7 day RMA period. The replacement program is part of apple's 1 year warranty. Just need to bring IC, Receipt, and Box (optional)
