btw you can also power the pump outside, using spare psu and 24pin jumper or paper clip!

Think I can leave the GoChiller Prep-cool in there for a week until fittings arrive? or should I just put in Aquacomputer Double Protect Ultra in after few more hours?

I think just put DP today if you can run the system already, more time to live run and spot any issues over weekend! AC and Watercool are high end level with good QC expected

I'm actually 1 pair QDC and 1 compression fitting short so I can't attach my memory into the loop, right now just running the memory naked, it took 12+ hours for the heatspreader to come off, think the glue on Teamgroup sticks might be a bit more annoying than GSkill.

Thats all the energy I have for now haha

temps I would say on average -10'C compared to Arctic Liquid Freeze 3 420mm

I pretty much have unlimited heat capacity but then I found out the 200mm fans I got are high power ones and go up to 1200rpm with a minimum 500rpm, watercool does sell a 800rpm model (I think its standard noctua fans) and it allows minimum rpm around 200, right now I can definite hear it even if I have it set at the lowest fan duty

I think no point power the pump outside, I have a very long 3m watercool cable that goes to the back of my PC, if want to power the pump outside just keep waiting for the active mo-ra control unit

one thing about the passive control is that they give you 4x fan cable, 2x 400mm and 2x 210mm?, so 2 of them go on radiator side to power the fans, then the 2 other ones you use to connect the passive control unit to motherboard - I actually need a bit longer cable right now its just handing in middle of no where very messy look

effort to setup is easy assuming you have the right tools and refresh yourself with the manual before you go, pretty much every part you buy from watercool as detailed manual with pictures step by step, it still takes time and it is very heavy

Oh i mean use external psu just to run the pumps, do filling, bleed air bubbles and check for leaks without powering up the pc first. afterwards connect pumps back to mobo psu.

i think 9x200mm at 200rpm will still get white noise, maybe check the placement for reverbs? I normally turn on aircon and let it drown out fan noise

filter if you no mind ugly, can buy daiso aircon filters, or get those DEMCifilter custom size magnetic mesh filter.

wooohooo another mora user haha. I would say that's still super overkill, but on the more optimistic side, that's room to grow into. You won't need another radiator again haha.

Do you have a water temp sensor? whats your ambient-coolant delta?

lol I just did it with my internal PSU while the ram was still soaked in 99% IPA, I know the PC won't boot without ram installed but it does power on the pumps, it took me almost 10min to fill out the loop, was like 3.5L total fluid in there

oh yeah how come I can't see the CPU fan speed on my mo-ra? I plug in the passive control fan into CPU1 motherboard header, all the software just says CPU1 is empty lol, but if I manual control the speed in bios it works

4x 120mm NZXT (from old NZXT X73 AIO and old NZXT case)
3x Corsair AF140 140mm front intake
3x Arctic P14 top exhaust (only 2 works since I remove the old AIO so I don't have a long enough cable)
1x Thermaltake CT140 140mm rear

then again its quite expensive that won't give me any performance upgrades

I always dump all the stock fans. When I did my recent rebuild, I replaced the case and AIO fans with all GTs except for a Cooler Master Prismatic at the rear. GTs for the sound profile and the Prismatic for the looks.

clearly your air cool gpu is holding you back

i think just 3 in and 1 out is enough.

maybe the parasitic noise is more from these case fans than mora fans!

can mora fans connect to an external fan controller? then you can turn off as many of them as needed

yeah I tuned the mora fans a bit more they are the most silent fans now, I saw 5090 TUF $4200 tempting but kinda want Astral but also don't want to spend $4800 + $500+ for block (might as well go for the best from de8auer)

no rush though since I'm not playing any games the 5080 can't handle for now

I think its quite fair comparison, 200S boost has warranty but limits his memory to 8000, while the AMD probably just 8000 XMP, FCLK is at 2000MHz stock and it is delided.

he has the most overkill builds, everything watercooled with double mora 600 and he doesn't overclock hahaha

oh didnt know that about the TUF, so I'll wait for cheaper Astral then, I think 5080 don't need block for now the fan budget can use for future. GPU and CPU I upgrade every generation so maybe not worth.

kinda feel limited by Taichi OCF, there isn't a proper VF Curve offset, missing so much settings that ASUS Apex boards have

Theres like 2 pages for CPU voltage on Taichi OCF while Apex probably has like 20 pages oh well, next time just pay more for better brand

I need to find out what is causing this power limit and also its getting close to tjmax 105 already haha but I don't feel like delidding Arrow Lake

interesting note, disabling e-core clusters on 285k doesn't make it perform the same as 265k for latency (it has 4ns lower latency on aida64 vs 285k)
