Sorry typo it is $99 for Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB.
For Samsung 1TB SSD and above they will give a 64GB, I received it few weeks ago.
Cuz I also brought the 970 1TB around that price at Challenger using rebate points.

Can i seek advice please.
If the real world difference between a M2 NVME and M2 SATA significant?

My MB only got slot for 1xM2 NVME and 1x expansion slot fo M2 SATA.
NVME is currently my main drive.

Thinking of using the M2 SATA expansion slot for my 2nd drive for game storage.

No difference unless you benchmark.
If for game drive SATA SSD will do fine.
Need not M.2 SATA which locally there isn't any good choices.

The Samsung 870 EVO is 2.5" SATA which is actually better
but you will need a SATA cable and SATA power for it.

Thank you. I will probably just get a M2 SATA then, cos "plug and play".
Btw, all SSD will require a heatsink right?

M.2 doesn't need heatsink, I know some DIY and put one.
Which is not needed unless the SSD comes with heatsink by default.

Transcend MTE220S 2TB NVMe PCIe Gen3 x4 M.2 2280 SSD (Up to 3,500MB/s Read) below $130, is this good?
Another option will be Crucial P3 PCIe M.2 2280 SSD - CTXXXP3SSD8 around the same price.
