Wow. Didn't expect M1 to launch ONR. But at $49.90. I just worry moving ahead, they will slowly move into ONR.

Ideal for homes where the Fibre Termination Point (TP) is not enclosed, centrally located, and positioned closer to connected devices to maximize Wi-Fi coverage. e.g. in the living room
Dont think so. If so they will offer it inside and hide it like singtel already. Normal consumer wont realise too.

Lastly, just came back from working with the engineers and product team. U guys will soon see a fix for be805. All the reported issues has been highlighted. I am also on their beta firmware. So far so good more stable than 1.2.2. Roaming works properly for the normal bands too except for mlo which only works on main router and not on mesh which means mlo dont support roaming.

Mlo shows one band and works like smart connect now atm so it is broken. And it does not work with easy mesh atm. All these will be fixed. I have highlighted all your concerns and mine to them.

There's some video / photo buffering issues in YouTube and FB / IG when using BE805.
There's also sometimes when the WiFi connection remains but no internet access.

I am not sure if it's the router firmware issue or M1 routing issue because connecting to a VPN somehow "solves" the buffering issue -> The videos loads very quickly. Any ideas how this can be solved or is it likely a M1 backend issue?

I think recently they onboarded too many users so congestion exists, it only happen this few weeks, youtube will get stuck or buffer but mostly go away after a while. Fully wired and router is a UDM SE so unlikely to be internal network issue.
