Hi All,

am having some issues with my macbook 2015. Installed Windows 10 a few months back all was good till last week

when i press ALT during start up to choose the partion to boot into as usual i was greeted by a very long black screen and eventually the system booted back to into OSX.

any one with similar problems ?

Can try cleaning its surface using isopropyl alcohol. Turn the mbp off first. If problem persist, may need to replace it. Diy will be much cheaper. Youtube got references

I am having some problem with my MacBook display and it is only 4 months old; there are some rainbow lines on it and my screen only showing ~75% of the display panel.

FYI, there is no crack on the screen and my MacBook got AppleCare warranty.

Any experts/gurus out there know what is the problem? graphic card problem or something else ? Pleas help and thanks in advance.

Is your problem same as me? Anyone else got this problem? or know what happen? Apple claim is Software Problem.

Hi everyone!

I have a 2-year old MBP 13" which I recently encountered problem with the right speaker whenever I'm playing audio. The right speaker would produce buzzing sound whenever audio is played.

Could it be an issue with the speaker itself? Should I bring it down to A-Lab?

I have a similar problem. Mine is not rainbow but portions of my screen will flash a bit throughout use. When using Chrome browser most of the sites won't load but safari is OK. Now vlc and all other media players can't play video. All these surfaced after i sent in for servicing to fix a different problem. Really kinda give up on the service centres in sg.

give apple care a call? or just go down to the useless service provider if still in warranty ba dont waste it.

2. 16GB memory
3. 256GB SSD

Anyone knows if the vendor will offer 0 interest instalment plan?

If I get 8GB memory MBP, can i upgrade myself to 16GB easily? I m super noob with apple laptops

8gb should be more than enough. its not like she's gonna run vmware/parallels (pretty sure got ppl buy macbook air with way lower specs in the course, at least during my time there were such people)

if possible you should get from her school, usually the warranty will be serviced/handled by the school vendor too which is more convenient.

ram cannot upgrade. 8GB good enough for the next few years. of cos the more the merrier.

Yes, her course need mac n she got MBA already but her senior claimed that MBA not enough

Maybe can can ask your daughter what exactly the senior told her that warrants a newer machine? Is your daughter going to be majoring in video etc?

Mass Comm students carrying a MBA (or even a 12" Macbook) is not uncommon as someone has mentioned.
