do anyone register warranty for macbook/macbook pro, problem trying to register, there's error message language code not valid when i login to apple.

if never register warranty, warranty not valid right?

If not register, you have to keep your sales invoive/receip. Other wise warranty period of 1 year will start counting from ex-factory date. Even you rigister, you still need to keep the invoice/receip as proof of purchase.

I have a Macbook

Macbook White (13 inch Mid 2007 model) for trade with an imac. this is a 2.0ghz c2d model with 1.5gb ram and 75GB hdd.... running Snow Leopard OS ... exactly 6.5 months of warranty left ( July 27 , 2010)

Model Name: MacBook
Model Identifier: MacBook2,1
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 2 GHz
Serial Number (system): W87302B6YA7

I was thinking of xchanging my macbook for any iMAC.. and the nearest iMAC i can trade is a G5 without applecare warranty. do u think its worth while trading?

Hi,
I've tried searching for previous post using 'free up disk space' but I could quite get what I'm looking for. I realised that I have about 20Gb of disk space that is 'missing'. In windows, we could clear temporary files and cache. Can we do something similar in Mac OS or is it auto cleared? I tried downloading some software but it doesn't seem to be able to identify where that 20Gb has gone missing ...

Missing?

If you want to clear your caches, try Onyx. You can use JDiskReport to see your hard drive usage breakdown. Then if you feel that you want to clear space more aggressively, use Monolingual (free) or Xslimmer (paid app).

Here's a screenshot of JDiskReport:

The next tab, Top 50, lets you see what gigantic files you have. This may come in useful for you.

If I'm not wrong, they will not send any email. But your Macbook serial number and your data are record there already, so shouldn't be any problem.

The Buddy sync issue right, it's one of MSN's new network thingys. Login to MSN Live (live.com or something) then go see your contact list and find that particular contact and remove him from whatever network thingy.
