I am consider for an upgrade because of I want a faster, almost as instant start up/shut down time and no lag in whatever I do in the computer.

Mostly I use the laptop for surfing, iTunes, Facebook, Youtube and some game like Dota and MapleStory.

Can the Mac be use to play game like Dota? Pardon me as I have never heard my friend doing that.

Well if its just boot time, then I suggest you upgrade to an SSD definitely will have a great boost in starting up. All computer cant as instant when you shut it down and on it again. Except in Mac, you could just put your mac into a sleep mode.

If game like MapleStory, it is unfortunately only developed for the Microsoft platform. There is Mac version of the warcraft though.

If you like the hardware of Mac then you could just install windows 7 on the system. Mac have a great hardware.

If not and you do not want paying that premium price then you should just go get a windows base laptop. Like ASUS, Dell, Toshiba, etc.

Do you know any app that works like words and excel in microsoft?
Thank you.

What do you mean by any app that works like words and excel in Microsoft?

If you are asking whether Mac have Microsoft Office, yes they do have. Office 2011. The package consist of Word, Presentation, Excel.

If you want the Mac version, go and purchase iWork. They have pages, keynote and numbers.

the trackpad would make my screen jump erratically from hot corners to hot corners. and the screen was just crazy. keep switching like mad. and as for the hard disk, im not that sure why they chnaged it. prob due to the trackpad and some software issues in the hdd. anyway sapura tpy's service is quite good. i even spoke to the technician who repaired my macbook and he was very nice in explaining to me what went wrong and how much longer it would take for me to get my mb back.

hello all,

when i power up my macbook, it failed to detect the airport, saying it was not install.

read from forum to use the command option PR to resolve it. However, after doing that, the macbook cant even powerup.

Im thinking of sending to service, have a 3 years apple care, but have not install it yet. Sow as wondering if the warranty is still valid.

Register ur AppleCare and send it in.

I tired to register AppleCare protection on the website. However need to show the proof of purchase as part of registration. I had already lost it.

So if that the case, it mean I'm not protected already?

Now the MacBook pro can't even bootup. Hang at the apple logo

You don't need to CLICK a trackpad. You just have to tap the surface like you would on an iPhone.

what's the reasonable amount of time a fully charged MBP can last?
mine seems to go flat pretty fast.
battery status is normal instead of Good.
is it time to send in for checks?

What I do is not install flash at all. Most video sharing sites support webkit and html5 and will switch their stream when flash is not detected.

And if you die-die need flash, use google chrome's built-in flash browser.
