Even my Note 3 having only 50mbps on 2.4Ghz.
It is awfully wrong somewhere. Can MR provide help pls.

Using AC68U.
Acc: C8635

note 3 50Mbps is very high already. Mobile phone typically should't exceed 60-70. Cause of weaker network card compared to laptop or desktop

anybody have this same issue with 1Gbps Fibre??

My PC is a Dell i7 Quad Core machine bought in end-2013. So I believe the ethernet port is a gigabit port.

But when I used the MR supplied Cat 6 cable to connect my PC direct to the MR-supplied modem box, my internet connection showed that the connection is only 100Mbps! I tried forcing my card to 1Gig instead of Auto-nego, but it still stayed at 100mbps.

Using Speedtest, my speed is only 90+ mbps and doesn't even break 100mbps. Any idea what is wrong? The strange thing is that when the MR tech guy tested it in front of me (he also direct connect his laptop to the modem), he could get 500mbps ++. (not 1gbps, but he explained that my area can only get 500mbps++).

At first I connected to my Asus AC66U and I thought my router was restricting the speed, but turns out its the modem itself giving such a low speed.

Your cable is very likely the problem I had the same issue and I fixed it by driving to the nearest challenger and get myself a new cable.

My internet connection on my lappie is showing only 150mbps instead of at least 300mbps. This is what I puzzle about.

So your Note3 has no upload (hang with 0 Mbps) problem?

Are you on the new 1Gbps plan?

Still hoping I do not need to re-setup my Note3 from scratch :(

Thanks to the field engineer even though opennet stood me up he gave it a try and still got my new plan installed. Here are my results, more real application testing later. I still have my OCZ RevoDrive 3 lying somewhere, will put it to some test.

One thing can be certain. OpenNet front desk has no idea how screwed up their backend system is...

Still no idea where is the screwup, are you guys contributing to the chaos by submitting late to OpenNet, which this guy discovered:

I thought Note 3 is on Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and someone managed to hit around 400+Mbps on WiFi with Note 3.

Installation for my MR 1Gbps is here in the morning.
Did a speed test via speedtest.myrepublic.com and was getting a reading as below.

2r3gt9s.jpg

**Speedtest was done directly on LAN connection via ONT Modem.
I had finally escalate the case to MR after calling multiple time in the noon. :s22:

MR support mention that they will need 3 days to rectify this issues.
Which I wasn't even advise is this related to hardware fault.

Knn. I must be the most damned and unlucky 1gbps owner

My high end pc dunno for what reason keep detecting my lan connection as 100mbps even though I'm very sure the cable is cat 6

Then my other low end iMac even though can detect 1gbps, when I do speed test the speed so fast that it hung my entire Mac machine. It always freezes at 250mbps++

Who more sway than me??

fwah, 400mbps? i can't even get that with intel 7260

my note 3 with ac68u can only get 30mbps via 2.4ghz, and 40-60mbps via 5ghz
