The Note3 upload 'hang' issue resolved :s12:

This is after installing a software update pushed in by Samsung to fix a "stability problem".

I wonder if it's because MR triggers them... I did submit a report on this issue this morning :)

paired with ac66u?

I am surprise that such issues were not encounted & ironout during the pre 'beta' (alpha) stage.
So this is a beta stage after all instead of an official launch?

which issues are you referring to?
anyway, there is no way to fully test everything that everyone needs la... and many problems people are complaining here are not 100% MR's fault...
Singtel 9.8k era... all the way to ADSL2+ I was there and there has been more problems than now I am facing
Worst thing is, IDA went the layered approach... that means all draw line, and when lines not clear, people on top dun wanna handle...

U hard code your DNS? I believe that would be an error somewhere... as there should not be happening.

I know cos I run 24/7 API interface to my RAPI EPP SRS here.

Sorry I totally dun understand anything you said here. :(

Came and left cos ON didn't do their job...
No indication of next appointment.

Join the growing list of disgruntled customers my friend. I think MR is in full lock-down and might as well have disconnected all their telephones in their offices.

Jitter, latency and packet loss on 1gbps

Dear MR,

this is not a complain, but something you may want to look into once all your other issues are resolved for the 1gbps deployment.

I realised that with the new 1gbps line, compared to my 100mbps PURE previously, the jitter, latency and packet loss has gone up. This has caused minor issues on VoIP with overseas provider. Local calls using your service is ok, but when calling overseas, the lag is more pronounced than previous, but is still very usable I must say.

It will be good if they can be resolved.

Next, I would like to know what could be the cause of me getting only about 700+mbps on my ONT. Honestly, 700mbps is more than what I need for now already (and am getting faster speed and paying less than previous), but just curious why is it so?

If it is a problem with ON due to poor cable connection/splice, I hope you can feedback to them and get it done properly for me. Who knows later when 10gbps is launched and I am not able to get it because of their problem. As a subscriber, I am unable to feedback to them or prove to them that its them. They can always tell me that its caused by the backend system of MR or Singtel or whoever.

come to think of it.... if the problem is due to ON giving me a bad connection... it could cause all the issues I mentioned...

at 100mbps, the signal is still sufficient and therefore everything is still ok.

but at 1gbps, it could be at the edge of of tolerance and therefore start seeing issues...

I got 500+ for speedtest ping to local (Telin, etc) and 800+ to MyRepublic test site, using cat5e cables direct from the alcatel lucent box....

upload test

for those of you who are already on the 1gbps plan... can you try to download from me and see what is the speed you are getting?

please try using single stream and multiple streams to see if there are any difference.
