Yes and with egate implementation no more such unreasonable questions from immigration officers, just like Oz 90 days visa means 90 days visa, allows multiple entrys that's it, no open to interpretation nonsense and only guilty of abuse if proven, not based on some officer's opinion.
Also harder to bribe your way in one day when the machine decides to bar you for overstaying :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Sure, but no one is dumb enough to overstay 90 days to get into that kind of trouble when it is so easy to travel to and fro.

Your statement on bribing is also curious, it strongly suggests that you have bribed an officer for over staying before.

But does that mean that using the machine one will certainly be granted entry and exit as long meet the immigration criteria and didn’t overstay ? I.e won’t get interdicted by the immigration officials as compared to using the manual lanes? Thank you.

But what if the computer records showed you stayed 353 days in JB, and 12 days in SG, out of 365 days?

Will the E-gate create an alert, such that you can't re-enter JB?

Why worry worry worry if you don't do it
At car counters (from JB to SG), the MY officer often takes a long look at my passport (big no of stamps) before letting me through. This is despite that I am only going to JB on a weekly basis.

Havent tried e-gates though.

i am confused
sinkies can buy Malaysia properties
without mm2h visa right?

then why still apply for one?
Can buy properties does not means it is legal to stay at the country without proper legal residence. Immigration checkpoints only screens your passport to assess whether or not to let you through. they dont care how many houses you own. Also, no one will bother to buy houses in JB. The ideal plan is to rent an apartment there and settle basic expense within JB while working in SG to grow capital networth.

For them it's citizens first and they elect a government who would do that, did you vote wisely? You can change Singapore you know.

singaporeans rarely overstay in foreign countries one, that is also why the passport from here is strong and highly trusted by the globe, and we can just extend by reentering.

theres no official number of reenter per year one can do at max. main prob is jb ustom officer pick on you when you seems to be doing it at an inappropriately excessive frequency..

When this tiong minister is gone in the next election, expect all the fixed deposit requirements to be x2.

500k MYR fixed deposit is seriously very low. Lot's of Malaysians have more than this amount of money. So, they will want foreigners allowed to stay to have much more. I suppose 3-10m is more reasonable.
