Found this on FB, posting for everyone's benefit.

Heya is not for everyone. It is only for those who do not mind putting in extra effort to monitor the expiry date for your data plan.

I have a followup question, if the app says I have 1 day left to the plan, be it data or roaming or call minutes or SMS. Because I have different expiry dates for all the different components, sigh,,, does it mean the plan will expire end of today 2359? As you refer to as the last day of expiry of the plan and then do the renewal?

Yah I was gonna ask about plan renewal. WOW so dumb. HEYA software backend cannot just add on the extension on the day when customer buy the plan, but MUST wait till the last day playing timing game with HEYA like buying concert tickets. And this service is by SINGTEL?! It feels more like from those 3rd party MVNO. Think mod should pin your comment on top or something.

I think also have to add, its better to buy wallet credits rather than plan renewal, because you never know if there is a service delay when you buy from Shopee/Lazada etc, cannot do it it in time. die liao. bye bye data rollover.
IMHO.
Heya.SG wants to be different. :ROFLMAO:

Yes, the data plan will expire on the data expiry date.
Don't think of it as renewal. Think of it as top-up with a 30-day data plan.
Heya.SG will SMS 3-days before the data expiry date and on the data expiry date itself.

Oic, right now the app only states how many days left not the actual expiry data. I am trying to understand what it means. Because there is a significant difference when doing date calculation based on days left, on whether it start from Day 1 or Day 0. :(

So you are also saying if app states left 1 day left, which means data will expire today 2359 right?

The actual date calculation can be quite confusing because months have 28, 29, 30 and 31 days.
The expiry date is day 30. The next day is day 1.
The app is not helpful because it shows the number of days left. Like that difficult to set reminder.

Usually I use *119# and take note of the main expiry and the data expiry.

I already knew every top up as you said is 30 days the problem is how the app interprets "days left", instead of just plain stating, expiry date. I will countercheck with *119# and see how it matches, and also fire at CSO to see how they interprets it and this ridiculous manual troublesome thing they are doing.

Ok so I have tried the *119# and then it said local data Exp: 28-08-23, so does this mean should top up on 28th Aug or top up on Aug 27th to maximize top up? Thanks for your help so far, a new user and still figuring out all this stuff so as to avoid losing the data rollovers. :(

Should be quite simple to reach the max of the rollover data.
Like others, the roll over max is 250GB after taking into consideration of that the plan was 50GB plus an extra 50GB to form the 100 GB.
With the 58th promo, suppose to be 50GB+50GB+50GB.
My top up last week, i never got the 50GB nor the 58 GB.
They never fulfil their end of the bargain because I did not receive any SMS on the 50GB and the 58GB.

Suggest you live chat with their CSO - they are available from 9am to 10pm.

Top up anytime on 28th August between 00:00 and 23:59 to keep the rollover data and maximize the data plan expiry.

New to heya. If this is a postpaid, why do we need to do top up? Don’t they bill is and we pay the bill?

Just have a live chat with them. The agent said must top up heya wallet first, then top the plan. And heya wallet can only top up at retailer.

Very troublesome.

You can always top up your Heya wallet online. No need to go to any Heya retailer.

There's a 'Heya Official Store' on Shopee.sg

So you can top up Heya wallet anytime, anywhere -- using your Shopee account & make payment via any method supported by Shopee.

If you familiar w/ Shopee, you can even use Shopee coins (if you have) -- to offset / reduce your payment when doing Heya wallet top up.

Besides the 'Heya Official Store' -- there are (multiple) other sellers on Shopee that also offers Heya top up.

Not just Shopee - you can also do Heya top up on other (online) platforms like Lazada.sg

Of course, when you go out & happen to walk pass any Heya retailer -- you can always choose to top up Heya via the retailer -- since you''re passing by.

The agents are super clueless.

1. You can top up online at Shopee or Lazada. Links to the official online shop is from Heya official website. No need to go to the retail shop.

2. You can buy the $10 plan directly and bypass the wallet.

There's a reason it's cheap. Singtel network, volte, 100GB for $10, free caller ID, free incoming calls. It's not for everyone.
