Anyway bottom line is that I will only consider StarHub and SingTel as Telcos just for their far superior coverage. Too bad that Giga's $10.10 plan only provides 10GB per month. Very poor with many more competitive options nowadays like Heya, Zym, and Vivifi.
Giga has $10.10 for 40GB in retail shops. But I would say the signal is fairly bad, especially in my workplace (which annoys a lot! I cannot play my phone during break). Since I do not need 5G, then for 4G I would vote for Heya.

Did you hit the maximum quota again?
IMHO.
No. Short by a few GB to 200GB. Now they are telling me is 1st 50GB, follow by the next 50GB and the remaining 58GB will come in 3 days later. I think is a joke. :ROFLMAO:

P.S. Why this situation occur ? Because I made it so. :ROFLMAO:

BTW in MRT especially CCL, Giga's network is poor even if it shows full 4G signal, but my friend's Singtel Prepaid card works as normal. Singtel's network coverage is way better, no doubt so many ppl decide to port in Heya, Zym and GOMO.

- sometime today (Sunday) you should get an SMS from Singtel on your Circles number that your porting over is successful and you can use your Heya SIM from tomorrow (Monday) onwards
- if the porting is successful, you will lose reception on the Circles line after 11pm tonight, and the Heya SIM card will NOT be active until Monday morning
- hopefully your retailer was smart enough to also buy the $10 plan for your temporary number
- if porting is not done on Sundays, everything will be pushed back by one more day

I got an SMS from Singtel that the porting is being processed. Yes, my retailer bought the $10 plan for the temporary heya number.

I thought I should at least able to use the temp number, with data of course, till the porting is successful.

No I'm afraid you can't use the temporary number at all. The sole purpose of the temporary number is for your retailer to buy the $10 plan and apply it to the temporary number.

Your heya SIM will be active after 2am on Monday but it may take an additional one or two days for your banking SMS to come in.

Also the bonus data of 50GB + 58GB may take one to three more days before it is reflected correctly when dialing *119*1#

Note that you should receive two SMS from Singtel.
- porting is being processed
- porting is approved

Only after you get the second one, then the whole porting process kicks off and you should lose reception on your original line after 11pm in the evening. That's the first real sign the porting is going ahead.

You just made a good choice by porting over from CL to heya

Just after I posted the above. I receive email from Circle.Life that my number will be transferred to another company.

ThenI received SMS from Singtel that the mobile number has been successfully ported over. But, start using your new heya SIM from 15 Aug 2023.

So, still need to wait till tomorrow.

Nothing wrong. Not Heya's fault.

Porting isn't done on weekends. That's why you have to wait until Monday. Circles needs to approve the porting, and they don't work on Sundays.

We can also buy the $10 data plan conveniently online from Lazada or Shopee. The official links are already found on the official heya.sg website. I wonder why they don't publicize this?
