I off 3G, only use data plan when i'm outside. Off all brightness, Sometimes even off sound, only put alarm..

The other time i do all this.. 6-7hrs only drop 1%.. test and proven :o

So can just charge anytime?

Yeah just plug it in if there's power available!

Yup, you have a lot of apps running in the background...

I always use System Panel to end all the task I don't need...hahah

Heck, I even end inactive and background apps sometimes :s13:

My current battery is 80% after 9.5 hours with 1.5 hours of screen time :D

can we have a checklist for this? I'm an iphone user, need some help.
ensure what is off etc.

Google is your friend...hahah

Anyway, I have posted a battery optimization guide a page back or so

It's definitely helpful - works wonder for me :s13:

Anyway, I feel your pain - I also had very bad battery life when I first switched to S3 - can't even last 6 hours initially...hahah

Do you guys charge your phone overnight?

Now currently my phone is about 50%.. battery used for about 13hr 30mins.. screen time about 4hr.

I think by my sleeping which is around 12am-1am+, my battery would be around 20%+

Really makes me wonder if it would be not good to charge overnight? If dont charge, tmr sure cannot even last till afternoon... how ?

The only reason you would not want to charge overnight is to save electricity, it won't "damage" your battery or your phone.
Smartphones and lithium batteries are far more advance than you think. :)

Wah ... your screen ON for 5h5m .... consume only about 28% of the battery life.

For mine ... 2hr 27m already takes up 22% already.

It also depends on what he was doing when his screen was on...hahah

Playing games and surfing the net uses up a lot of battery

I tend to read ebooks on mine - lots of screen time but not much battery usage :s13:
