If the 5x is for something different from your 11x flat type, then this simplistic model wont hold.

But, if you case is for same flat type in same BTO, that means, there was an assumption that I didn't take into account that since there are 5 BTOs running at the same time too, they might actually take a slower pace in the beginning, ie q no 1 to 1xx or so, like someone else, I think it was Noel13, indicated earlier. Or the 30 appts/day assumption maybe wrong in the beginning (initial) batches, which means they do about 1/2 maybe 15 +/-, and for each flat type in each BTO maybe 3-4 appts, then your 2 week difference from 5x to 11x will hold true.

If it is mid Jan for 5x, and if they started Jan 2, and mid Jan is about 2 weeks from then and 11x is about 50+ q numbers a way which is 2 weeks after 5x, then it is reasonable that they are running slow and a good assumption, this is what is happening.

Based on this data, which is only valid for CCK and Bedok, and esp those who have not heard or got any selection dates, that means their BTO selection start dates may have been push out a little and should have their dates later than 5x and 11x......yet another assumption....!!

Till we have some more good data points, then we can make a good estimate of when our appts should be.

Same flat type. We have this group in facebook for the same project.

If this is the case, each BTO is released some time later as they clear the earlier BTOs first. But, all else being equal, based on difference between q# 1 and 50 is a 2 week lead from the start of each BTO selection appointment.

Official from HDB. You can go to MyHDBpage under new flats.
My queue number is 5X. Appointment on 4 march.

This is an interesting data point. 5x and appt in early March. This only means that GM is starting late, possible 3rd-4th week in Feb.

So far we know, CCK and Bedok is starting Jan based on people getting their selection appts.

Now, there is Sengkang and TPY, which no one has gotten any word yet. I think someone said TPY is also Jan.

Just curious pinkretro, did your ballot q letter say that GM will start in Feb or March for your flat type ?

Thx for another valuable input.

I think it can be arrange any way HDB like.
It will not really be in running.
Can be select for this week and stop next week I guess.

There is the below:
Gm 3 rooms => 1x Early Jan
Gm 3 rooms => 3x Early Feb

Fyi, cck selection has already started on 21st dec.

Someone from gm Facebook with 1x queue number has his appointment on 9 Jan. Mine is 11x, 20 march.

facing facilities meaning those facing the multi-purpose carpark? which level are you looking at?

im still considering between the units facing park connector or mrt.. cos for the same price for instance, i can get a level 20 facing mrt vs level 8 facing park connector.. still weighing my options.. but those units facing park connector will be very popular.. hmm..

Wow, all these great data points. It seems that the rate accelerates in March for GM, HDB is speculating that the drop out rate will increase exponentially. Noel13 was right again. This data point confirms, and from data u people have contributed from 11x on March 20 for the 3rm and 5xx on March 16 for the 4rm. And GM in the tens from Jan to Feb, which is really slow, about 20 appointments per month for the 3 room GM.

I believe there is a formula they work out of. It cant be they are doing what they like subjectively or some guy sitting at his desk doing all this logistics. And getting the computer to crunch everything out in a short time, would be the most efficient way to handle such volumes.

Yeah, I thought so too. But those facing facilities are still pretty good, because my friend staying in ghim moh valley 3rm also facing the pavilions & playground on level 9 is also very breezy and bright. Because i have a slight worry about facing the park connector, in future if any construction works may bring in the dust and noise. Used to be in the property line, so used to hear problems like that. :(
