Result too lousy go private school la if die die lousy result want to get degree. Got money most imp..

Good that you got a place in the local Uni but with your attitude, you wont go far in life.

Dont come crying or whining on this forum when you flunk your modules in uni.

i am currently in doing my NS. next yr june ord so which means to say i am only left with probably 1 yr? i also tried applying last year also got rejected.

i have yet to know the outcome of my appeal results too. seems like we gotta wait. mind sharing your results?

sure i will but i tink i can just tell u that 90% it will be a negative result. not too optimistic about the outcome.

no worries man, i got rejected for the first year. 2nd year i applied, i got into ntu and this year i got into smu. all the best!

STPM is that the Malaysia Cert ?
I think NTU have limited spaces. Every year a lot of people from Poly and JC want to admit to NTU. In addtion of that, a lot of scholar from China, Indonesia, Malaysia and etc. compete for the limited spaces.
Please be realistic a bit lah.

Malaysian Cert compete with others with Malaysia Cert..
Just like Poly compete with poly, A Level compete with A Level...

I'd like to be very random in the midst of the thread; somehow, I don't really understand how NTU select their undergrads.

My grades are BBC, GP B, it's neither spectacular nor that bad, but I got rejected flat by NTU's School of Humanities & Social Science. And I heard of people who fared worse than me getting into the courses.

So perhaps NTU looks more at CCA records, interviews, or something for borderline cases... I didn't have much of a CCA record back at JC.

FYI; I got into the Accountancy course with a score of BCC; GPA B3. CCA Record: Above average. (And BCC is a very bad grade in my opinion)

I needed an interview to get in, but I'm sure the dean was happy with what I said and granted me a place.

So who cares whter or not your grades are bad? Just try your best; apply. Lady luck will smile on those who try. Those who didn't try in the first place have already lost out.

Ah.. maybe I left out one impt point..

I'm already into my last year in Accountancy, matriculated in 2007. I still haven't heard of anyone with a worst score than mine in Acc..

Anyways, that's besides the point. There's no harm trying no matter what your score is. Who knows, you might be granted an interview.

how did u do it?u a national swimmer or wad elite spotted
